📅 July 26, 2001 - Broadwing Communications (broadwing.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of the optical communications leader Broadwing Inc. announced new managed hosting contracts with three top tier firms, GE Capital IT Solutions (gecitsolutions.com), Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (fhlbcin.com) and Smart Papers, LLC (smartpapers.com).

Broadwing's managed hosting division is providing GE and Federal Home LoanBank of Cincinnati with network and computing infrastructure and fullymanaged hosting services according to each company's e-business needs. Smart Papers has selected Broadwing to host, manage and monitor theirenterprise resource planning software application. ERP integrates alldepartments and functions across a company onto a single computer systemthat can serve all those different departments' particular needs.
