William Krause, a member of theExodus board of directors since June 2000, as chairmanand CEO, succeeding Ellen M. Hancock who has resigned.Krause, who retired as chairman of 3Com Corporation in1993, is president of LWK Ventures, a privateinvestment company in Silicon Valley.

``During Ellen's tenure, Exodus enjoyed phenomenalgrowth and was able to build a world-class data centerinfrastructure and managed services offerings,benefiting greatly from her technology expertise. Thefocus now is to implement an operating plan thatreflects the realities of a tough economicenvironment,'' Krause stated. ``We agreed with Ellenthat it's time to transition the leadership of thecompany as it maneuvers through challenging times.''
Krause has also served as president, CEO and adirector of Storm Technology, Inc., a digital imagingcompany. He previously held various general managementand executive positions at Hewlett-Packard Company.Krause currently serves on the board of directors ofPinnacle Systems, Inc., Packeteer, Inc. and Sybase,Inc.
