Penguin Computing and Sangoma to Provide Routing Solutions

📅 October 15, 2001 - Penguin Computing Inc. (penguincomputing.com), a developer of Linux-based solutions, and Markham, Ontario's Sangoma Technologies (sangoma.com), a developer of WAN connectivity products, announced last week an agreement to include Sangoma WAN cards in Penguin Computing's routing solutions.

Routing solutions from Penguin Computing supply customers with Sangoma'sintegrated, cost-effective wide area networking capabilities while providingvital WAN interface services including DNS, VPN, DHCP, Web caching and Webfirewalling. Factory customization and professional services are availableto customers via Penguin Computing's patent-pending STS technologies.
Penguin Computing's routing solution has already been successfully deployedby Rotech International to construct a nation-wide WAN for comprehensiveMedicare billing. Rotech's system links a complex network of pharmaceuticalcompanies over Frame Relay, providing a means with which to centralize andprocess data.
