Jan, 2002 : Radiant Develops Site for Dorigo Systems

📅 January 22, 2002 - Dorigo Systems' new corporate Web site (dorigo.com) isdesigned and hosted by Radiant Communications (radiant.net -> hostpapa.com), the companies annnounced. Dorigo is a contract manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies for original equipment manufacturers.

"The nature of Dorigo's business calls for a site where information isking," said Bruce Cleland, Radiant's vice president, web development andmarketing services. "Dorigo's existing customers require specific productdata while potential customers may need different information. This resultedin a site that serves as an information repository that both groups caneasily access."
Radiant created a Web site that provides Dorigo with an up-to-date presenceon the Internet, that allows users to locate information about DorigoSystems and its capabilities in a user-friendly environment. By increasingthe availability of key information via the Web, Dorigo's new site will bothreduce the number of support calls received, as well as increase theiroverall level of service, the company said. Along with statically displayedtext pages, many product specification sheets are available in Adobe PDFformat. Radiant's NetEditor technology allows Dorigo staff to update severalkey areas including "breaking news," design for manufacturabilityspecifications, and careers without any special programming knowledge.
Radiant Communications is one of the largest independent providers ofbusiness Internet services in Canada. Radiant's Vancouver office has over200 Web development and marketing services customers. In addition, thecompany provides hosting and connectivity services to over 8,500 businesscustomers throughout North America.
