Former Compaq executive, Steve Kirchoff, has joinedas executive vice president product business units, sales and marketing, andformer IBM executive Robert Poon has joined as vice president, servicedelivery.

As executive vice president of NaviSite, Steve Kirchoff is responsible forestablishing a foundation for profitable growth through products andservices, go-to-market strategies and the operation of an integrated sales,channel and marketing team. Kirchoff's background, which combineshigh-impact sales strategies and growth-oriented technical and marketingabilities, will enable NaviSite to package and deliver value-added servicesthat map directly to customer needs, the company said. Prior to joiningNaviSite, Kirchoff spent 19 years at Compaq, where he held senior roleswithin a $22-billion group as vice president of enterprise strategies andmarketing.
As NaviSite's vice president, service delivery, Robert Poon's outsourcingexperience will provide the company's customers with a high level ofoperational skill and managed Web services. Poon specializes in organizingand managing delivery teams for rapid execution and will apply this skillset to ensure service levels and satisfaction for NaviSite customers. Priorto joining NaviSite, Poon was vice president of service delivery for IBMGlobal Services, where he managed 40 data centers and $355 million inoutsourcing contracts.
