Mar, 2002 : PlaceWare Selects WorldCom for Co-Location

📅 March 1, 2002 - WorldCom (worldcom.com), a data and Internet communicationsprovider, and PlaceWare, Inc. (placeware.com), a provider of Web conferencing and collaboration services, today announced that PlaceWare haschosen WorldCom to provide Internet co-location services for itsconferencing solutions.

By choosing WorldCom, PlaceWare will achieve the cost and operatingefficiencies of co-location outsourcing, while leveraging the security andreliability of WorldCom's IDCs and scalable direct connections to itsfacilities-based network. Financial terms of the agreement were notdisclosed.
