📅 March 1, 2002 - Log On America, Inc. (loa.com) has announced that EarthLink will acquire itsexisting residential dial-up customer base. In addition, Log On America hascontracted to provide ongoing wholesale communications services to supportthese subscribers.

Alcatel is the sole provider for the terrestrial portion of the project, including Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing systems and end-to-end network management.
