Extending service to new Web Hosting and Private Server accounts, Invite Internet (invite.net) is offering a promotional package, which includes: free instant set-up, free month of service and free one year domain registration.

Despite the IT recession, Invite Internet has successfully grown its client base and has continued to introduce new service offerings. The company's Instant Private Server product, which provides near dedicated performance at a fraction of a dedicated server cost, is an example of its growth. Instant Private Servers have become Invite's most sought after service offering.

📅 Mar 22, 2002 - AT&T And Partners Launch First Sino-Foreign IP Broadband Services Venture In China - AT&T, a telecommunications company and supplier of data, Internet and managed services, announced today that it has launched the first Sino-foreign joint venture with Shanghai Symphony Telecom (STC) and Shanghai Information Investment (sii.com)(SII). Shanghai Telecom, a subsidiary of China Telecom, will market its services under the brand name Unisiti. Unisiti is the first and only joint venture in China with foreign participation to provide IP-based data services to business customers in the Pudong business district of Shanghai. Representatives from Cable & Wireless, WorldCom and Qwest Communications all defended the practice of swapping network capacity as both lawful and helpful to the services provided by each company. Each firm either dealt with Global Crossing or its Asia Global Crossing subsidiary, USA Today reported. Global Crossing filed for Chapter 11 protection early this year, marking the telecom industry's biggest bankruptcy filing ever.
