Mar, 2002 : Express Re-Brands Digital Chainsaw Hosting
📅 - Express Technologies Inc. (expresstech.net), a Web hosting provider with properties including HalfPrice Hosting and CFXHosting, announced this week that it has begun efforts to re-brand its DigitalChainsaw.com hosting division, which it acquired in 2001, as Invotion.com.
Following large investments in infrastructure, automation and personnel, says the company, the change to its name and image became a necessity. "We want our clients to understand that Invotion is dedicated to making the innovative technology of tomorrow available today," says Mark Click, sales and marketing director of Invotion.
Invotion, says the company, will offer clients Web-based email solutions that provide content filtering, virus protection, calendaring and task lists. Operating on a fully redundant and load-balanced platform, the high-availability system will allow Invotion to extend its 99 percent guarantee to the company's email services.
In addition to the enhanced email services, Invotion has implemented a comprehensive Web-based control panel that allows clients to view billing records, make changes to their service and add new accounts. The company says it has also instituted a new call system to guarantee that a service representative will answer all calls within five minutes.
"We are very excited about the re-branding initiative that is currently underway. After several months and many investments we felt our name needed to better reflect our vision and focus,? says Click. "I am looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead for both our company and our clients."
The Invotion brand, says the company, will offer a more extensive range of products and services than was available from the Digital Chainsaw division, including both dedicated and colocated hosting solutions, guaranteeing 99.9 percent uptime.
