Speakeasy Expands Co-location Space in Telehouse Data Center

telehouse.com logo📅 - Neutral co-location firm Telehouse (Telehouse.com) said today that national broadband provider Speakeasy Network Inc. had decided to increase its co-location space at Telehouse's Broadway Center in downtown New York City.

Telehouse's 85,500 square foot Broadway Center offers connections to 23 access providers.
Speakeasy said one of the factors in deciding to increase its presence at Telehouse's Broadway facility was that connectivity to its main backhaul partner was available, which "enables us to continue providing our customers with a premium connection to the Internet," said Michael Apgar, CEO of Speakeasy.
"From day one, we've understood that the success of our carrier neutral co-location model is based on giving our customers a true choice for connectivity," said Richard Mataka, Director of Sales and Marketing for Telehouse America. "Speakeasy's confidence and satisfaction with the carrier options at our Broadway Center is excellent confirmation that this model works."
Telehouse maintains five co-location Centers in New York and California. Its sister firm, Telehouse Europe, has sites in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, and Geneva.
