👈 Official Responses: 0) announced this week that it has stepped up its initiative to tailor its managed hosting services for institutions of higher education by creating an advisory council to provide guidance on the hosting solutions needed at the college and university level.

The goal of the council is to help guide NaviSite in the design, development and implementation of the company's higher education programs. The council will place emphasis on supporting cost reductions within institutions, as well as increasing overall service levels.
"We are committed to supporting institutions of higher education as they define their specific outsourcing needs, and we are dedicated to meeting these needs through managed hosting services designed specifically for this market," says Steve Kirchoff, executive vice president of sales and marketing for NaviSite.
Members of the council include the MIT Sloan School of Business, College of the Holy Cross, University of Massachusetts, University of New Hampshire and Community College of Rhode Island.
