📅 - Colocation and managed service provider Heracles LLC (HeraklesData.com -> qtsdatacenters.com) announced this week that it has named John Thomas as Director of Operations for the company's Internet data center located in Sacramento, California.
Thomas, says Herakles, will be responsible for managing the facility's Command Center, which controls the facility's operating systems and monitors and provides technical support to customers? installations. He will also be responsible for the facility's preventative maintenance program.
Before joining Herakles, Thomas was operations manager for the Sacramento data center facility belonging to Denver-based colocation provider Inflow, and has over 25 years experience in the management of data center facilities. He has held key positions at AEI Computer Data Recovery and the GAP Global Data Center, and possesses MCSE and CCNA certification.
