📅 June 12, 2007 - Managed hosting service provider Layered Technologies (layeredtech.com ) announced on Tuesday it has added two new members to its board of directors. Jack Finlayson, former president, COO and director of SAVVIS, and David Howe, founder and managing general partner of Enhanced Equity Fund, have join the board of directors for Layered Technologies.
Finlayson has over 20 years of experience within the technology and telecommunications industry, serving in various executive roles engaged in corporate growth, thought leadership management and key marketing initiatives with such companies as SAVVIS, Global Crossing, Motorola and AT&T. "Jack's career accomplishments and experience in the business issues of high-tech, leading edge companies will be a great benefit to our board," says Michael Platner, CEO of Layered Technologies. "Surrounding ourselves with people who understand and share our passion for both on demand hosting infrastructure services, and our commitment to our customers' success, will help us to reach our full potential." David Howe has been actively engaged in private equity and venture capital investing for over 16 years. Prior to creating EEF, Howe served as a partner at both Citicorp Venture Capital and Lightyear Capital.

Layered Tech announced last month that hosted messaging solutions provider mobileStorm selected Layered Tech to enable its marketing focused software as a service offerings.
