👈 Official Responses: 0) a preeminent operator of integrated Tier-1 Network Access Points (NAPs) and best-in-class data centers, announced today that over the last three months, it has signed over 13 new customers at the NAP of the Americas, continuing to expand the NAP's customer base not only with telecommunications carriers but also enterprises and content providers.

Terremark's new customers at the NAP of the Americas include:
Bacardi, Boliviatel, CAF (Corporación Andina de Fomento), E-xpedient, IM1 Webhosting, MCI WorldCom, Navega.com, NTT/Verio, NUI Telecom, Salnet, SysteComm, WebUseNet, WebUseNet Corp. and WilTel Communications.
Additionally, Latin American Nautilus USA, a NAP of the Americas customer since January, has significantly expanded its presence at the NAP.
Latin American Nautilus is one of the major regional broadband telecommunication providers. The company, whose stakeholders are Telecom Italia, Telecom Argentina, Entel Bolivia and Entel Chile, links some of the largest cities in South America - including Santiago, Chile; La Paz, Bolivia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lima, Peru; Caracas, Venezuela and Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brasil - with major cities in Central America, and North America. Latin American Nautilus has also retained a first right of refusal for additional expansion within the facility.
