Mar 11, 2003 : Rackspace Names Vice President of Sales

📅 March 11, 2003 - Managed hosting provider Rackspace Managed Hosting (Rackspace.com ) announced on Tuesday that it has named Glenn Reinus as vice president of sales, where he will be responsible for building and managing the company's sales organization.

According to Rackspace, Reinus brings 20 years of sales management and business development experience in the telecommunications, networking and Internet software markets. He joins the company from Web communications services provider WebEx, where he served as vice president of worldwide sales and business development.
"Glenn will play an essential role in our company's development as Rackspace enters its third year of profitability," said Lanham Napier, president, Rackspace Managed Hosting. "As Rackspace forges ahead into its next stage of growth, Glenn will be an incredible addition to the management team based on his experience growing companies in the high technology markets."
