👈 Official Responses: 0), announced yesterday it has signed a 12-month contract to supply managed hosting services to 3E Europe Ltd., a specialist software development company.

The company said the agreement was signed through Interliant UK's hosting partnership with Dell Computer Corporation (dell.com).
According to the company, the contract signing was precipitated by 3E Europe's migration of its CIRIS solution from desktop software to an Internet-based application. "We decided that we should outsource the server management for the Internet version of CIRIS," said Keith Grimsey, senior software developer at 3E Europe. "Having worked with Dell technology for some time, we felt that hosting with Dell Hosting Solutions would be the best option for us."
CIRIS is currently being used for delivering clinical governance to radiological imaging service teams within the UK healthcare sector.
"The Internet is the ideal environment for applications like CIRIS," said Neil Turner, managing director of Interliant UK. "It allows the users in hospitals to get access to the latest information on good practice guidelines and legislative changes at all hours of the day and without the need to update their desktop PCs. In turn, Interliant is extremely well placed to help 3E Europe make the change to the Internet as they can benefit from our extensive experience and ready-built secure infrastructure."
NaviSite is an Andover, Massachusetts-based provider of application and infrastructure management services. Its services include colocation hosting, bandwidth, and content and software delivery.
Interliant was acquired by NaviSite in May.
