"Go Daddy knows having the right Web site these days is a key to growing your business, marketing products, attracting new customers and even just letting people know where your store is," says Barb Rechterman, executive VP of Go Daddy. "Our customers told us they wanted a simple way to get a beautiful Web site, so we came up with our custom Web site design, where you can get professional design for a fraction of the cost you might normally pay a freelance Web designer." According to the Pew Internet and American Life Project, 63 percent of Americans expect a business to have a Web site that provides information about a product they are considering purchasing. If a store provides product information online -- even if it does not actually sell the products at its Web site -- nearly half of those surveyed say that would make them more likely to go to the store to buy the product. Customers can visit the Go Daddy Web site to register a domain name, get Web hosting and email services, purchase e-commerce tool quick shopping cart and now choose from a variety of custom Web design plans and price ranges.

Go Daddy recently announced it is experiencing a surge in the number of people who are buying the rights to Web site names for their newborns or for a friend or relative's child.
