👈 Official Responses: 0) announced today that Interliant UK will be renamed NaviSite Europe as of October 1, 2003.

Interliant was acquired by NaviSite in May of this year. Interliant UK Ltd was an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Interliant and was included in the assets purchased.
The company said the newly-named subsidiary will offer a more complete service portfolio, including colocation services, sophisticated content delivery technology, collaborative application management platforms for systems integrators as well as shared and dedicated messaging and e-mail.
NaviSite added that its European subsidiary will provide a channel for NaviSite to increase its presence in the European market for managed hosting.
"These developments are great news for Interliant UK's customers, allowing them to take advantage of NaviSite's considerable service and technology strengths," said Gabriel Ruhan, chief operating officer of NaviSite. "In addition, we are also currently consolidating our server and security monitoring systems to provide greater 24x7 service levels, and are in the process of relocating the current Interliant London data center to a more sophisticated facility at London's Docklands."
In a second announcement, NaviSite introduced its new shared managed messaging services for Microsoft Exchange 2003 in Europe.
The company said the managed solution lowers costs and improves reliability and security for mid-market companies.

NaviSite is offering Exchange migration services to help customers upgrade to the latest platform.
