The bottom line: these are NOT the people they were a few months ago, STAY AWAY! If you had asked me to write a review just a few months ago I would have given a glowing recommendation. Since they were bought out their service has gone totally to crap.

I had hosted with them for a year, and had just renewed for a second year when I got the notice to transition my site to the new platform. This is when a whole long series of issues cropped up. Needless to say the automatic transition failed. I switched to "manual mode" and attempted to copy files to the new platform but that wouldn't work since their tools were timing out.

After spending a week with tech support we got my site moved and everything was verified on the new system. When I chose the final step ("Repoint DNS"), the system deleted all of my site settings and reverted my database to one nearly 4 weeks old! WTF?

My stite generates income for me, and it was down nearly 2 more weeks trying to resolve the issue. It killed off my customer base. When they fixed one thing then something else would break. I got the database restored to the correct version and then all of my subdomains stopped working! Furthermore they dropped support for Reporting Services which is key to one of my applications. When I asked about this, they said they have never heard of Reporting Services.

On top of all this, I was trying to use their new control panel to check/re-check site settings and it would just time out. It took nearly 3 hours of trying during the middle of the night just to get my application set on the correct .net version. Using the system during the day was impossible.

The final "solution" they offered was to move me back to the original platform until they could sort this out. Needless to say, I canceled my account with them. To add insult to injury I just got an email from their tech support dept. nearly one month after these problems started. It says that they found the problem - it is because I am still on the old system! Nice one! Way to read the ticket history.

Honestly I feel bad for them. They really had something going for themselves with good support, a good system and plenty of features for the price. I guess that is what made them attractive as a company and they got bought out by someone that has no idea about hosting, and didn't care at all about customer satisfaction or business continuity. It is a sad joke really.
