1. FTP Service -- Doesn't work across a firewall. I always get a connection refused error when connecting from behind a NAT firewall. That means 90% of all corporate users and most sane home users won't be able to connect via ftp.

2. WebShell3 -- Doesn't allow uploading medium size files. Since webshell is suppose to allow uploading of archived directories, I would consider 10MB small. But even files of that size and less fails. If the file is large enough to need a progress bar, forget about using webshell to upload it.

3. WebShell3 -- Is not reliable. I regularly see errors like, "ERROR: FTP connection has failed!" and " FATAL :: unable to connect to localhost ".

4. One Hour Response Time Garentee -- They definitely don't respond in 1 hour. I have submitted 5 tickets. The first one was an e-mail configuration problem. It took 12 hours for a response. The response did not actually address my question, but I had figured out a workaround by then. The second was a request for shell access, which also took 12 hours. Answer, "We do not allow shell access, but you can use webshell." The last three tickets are one for each of the problems above. The se have not received a response.

5. Email Service -- No filter capabilities. Not even the ability to run a procmail script. Prepare to be flooded with spam unless forwarding to a third party.

6. Email Service -- Postmaster account can not be redirected, forwarded, nor deleted.

7. Email Service -- No alternate SMTP ports. If your ISP blocks port 25, you will not be able to send e-mail.

8. Email Service -- No directions for configuring IMAP. It took me 15 minutes before I realized need to set the Mail Folder to Inbox in Outlook Express for Sent Items and Drafts to work correctly.

9. Shell Access -- There is none. Forget about using scp, sftp, or rsync to transfer files.
