Been with Impact Hosting for over 10 years. Up until recently, we have never had a problem with Impact Hosting. They provided an 800 number for support. Emails were answered same day. Support was great.
Now that has all changed. They dropped their 800 number for a 567 number. Apparently they only have one line because I've only gotten through once out of about 60 calls (at least). I try to email and they start a support ticket. Try to continue with the support ticket and the ticket disappears indicating "an error has occurred". Start a new ticket and back to square one. Works for about a day and then "an error has occurred". My website has been down for more then a week now.
Our business depends on our online commerce being up and running at all times. Now our online commerce pages just say 404 Not Found. Our customers think we went out of business. Impact Hosting tells me they will have someone contact me. Yeah right, shame on me for falling for that one! Do you think they'll reimburse us for the money lost? Since I can't get a hold of them from their 567 number, most likely not!
I would love to Ftp into the site so I can update our index.htm to reflect that these problems are all the fault of Impact Hosting, but alas, no Ftp access right now either. My main email is down as well.
Would love to switch companies right now, but can't Ftp into the site to download all the pages we need to move it in the first place.
