I started with the free trial. Then I forgot to cancel. I was charged $5 per month I never even set up with Homestead. I got to busy. I called after 4 months of paying $5.00 I was assured I was canceled. Well for the next 6 months I was still charged. I did not look over statements as they are usually right on. One day checking something I noticed they were still taking out money. I tried to call to no avail. I tried to log in to my account and could not do that. I could not locate anyone to cancel
I canceled the debit card or they would still be taking the 5.00 per month I know it is only $5.00 but if I had it all back it would be $90.00
They are scams. I can get into them so be careful. Watch out for auction swipe that is really bad. I got my money back fast which was a miracle. $161.00 They really sock it to you in the misled come on. Someone is a great manipulative writer. Well Best wishes to all. There are wolves in cyberspace some waiting to devour the vulnerable. Hopefully with more knowledge we can share and help someone before they jump into a scam. God Bless anyone that has been scammed do not give up, keep persevering, change your checking number if you need to. Then try and go after your money. I am trying again with Homestead. I get email today. We can not get money from your account. Yeah I closed it because I was taken to cleaners. No one ever closed me out and I was told ia dot was a done deal. Thumbs Down on homestead. ) - ; Hope I learned from these incidents.
