I have a cool store for selling handmade products and I was doin’ fairly well but my business didn’t seem to be growing as fast as I’d hoped and I decided to publish a website for promotional purposes (‘cause it seems everyone’s doin’ it). First time round I got my hands on a professional (albeit a friend) to build a website for my store for me. If it wasn’t a friend’s work I’m sure I would’ve found it very costly and, in truth, after receiving the final work I found that the website was really not what I was looking for. I asked for more revisions but my buddy still failed to provide me with the website I wanted and something always stood out as being wrong with it. I got answers pretty much as soon as I placed the questions on the forum and it has helped me a great deal to overcome the obstacles that I’ve faced. I finished the website for my store, initially using it for promotional purposes and within a few days and as I got more comfortable, I added some new e-commerce features to my site making it possible to conduct my business on the internet.
