😁 I've had a several, very small (low traffic) business and personal websites for well over 20 years now. To host these sites I've used space provided by various ISPs (a long time ago), Just Host, HostPapa (an absolutely terrible service in 2018/19), a couple more that no longer exist, and for the last 1.5 years, Webnames (I've used Webnames--formerly attached to UBC--since the 1990's, as my domain registrar). I can't recommend them highly enough for small businesses like mine. The technical support is class leading (although their hours aren't the best...not 24/7) and they don't mess about with a lot of up-selling.
I saw one commenter posted criticism alleging that Webnames sells your personal info. That's BS. Having your domain ownership details hidden is your responsibility although you can pay them to have it protected.
I highly recommend Webnames and have no interest in going elsewhere for hosting (Yes, my comment may appear to have been written by Webnames but it isn't.

😠 DO NOT purchase anything from this company. As soon as our domain was registered we overwhelmed with emails from various scammers, phishers that they had SOLD our information to. When questioned about it they said 'OH, you need to purchase the domain privacy for an additional cost...'. So what good does this do now? They received money for the cost of the domain name, then they make money from the scammers by selling your personal information (including phone number, address, & full name - just to say the least), then they ask for more money for security. It sounds like an absolute scam and now our info has been exposed.

😠 Do not host with Webnames.ca, they have very bad customer service. I ask for help and he said he will get back to me later on today. I called Webname.ca back the next day. He said his helper is off for 2 months and he started to complaint about that I move around in my account too much. Which I didn't, I called in not more than 5 times in 2 to 3 years. They gave terrible service. DO NOT HOST with them. You will regret.

😠 DO NOT host anything with webnames. They're customer support is terrible - no 24/7 support. So, if you have an issue on Friday evening - good luck because you're waiting until Monday morning to get it resolved. And even then, if the right specialist isn't in the office you're waiting another few hours until they get in. God forbid they call them on their cell phone and find out how to make the necessary changes.
Please take my advice - they've dropped the ball on more than one occasion. Go with a bigger operation that provides 24/7 support. You'll likely get better pricing too.

😉 Used webnames.ca to host a karate website. Choose them because they offered linux servers with a login shell. Things worked great until one day all shell access was cut off with no warning.
After contacting them they said it was done for security reasons and nothing else could be done. Considering that I choose them initially for shell access this was not cool. Choose another provider after that.
While being with them their uptime seemed okay.
