The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom is an authority in permit, licence, registration, approval, safety and security matters..fi is the country-code top-level domain for Finland and it is administered by Traficom National legislation regulates the registration and use of fi-domain names.
Fi-domain names are regulated by the Act on Electronic Communications Services (917/2014). Sections concerning domain names are mainly in chapter 21 of the Act.
Domain name holders are responsible for making sure that the domain name they have registered is lawful. The domain name must not infringe a protected name or trademark owned by another party. You can lose the domain name you have registered if requested by the owner of the infringed name or trademark.
