😠 I recently was trying out new hosting providers and stumbled upon sonicfast.io and figured since they where under Zare they should be fine. They advertise unmetered bandwidth and the ability to remove their "softcap" of 1 TB. Well since I was intending on using this service for a VPN service of multiple users, I obviously had to get more bandwidth. Upon asking them I waited about two weeks for them to tell me that the plan I have purchased with unmetered bandwidth advertised isn't enough money per month to supply me with more bandwidth. So between their false advertisement and odd mitigation at times with awkward upstream issues here and there. I honestly think that this hosting is complete shit.

😠 Absolutely awful service. They just casually changed the ip of the server without contacting me and I can't even access the server with the new ip.
Moreover there has been random downtimes. Definitely not recommended.

😠 Dear friends,
SonicFast is a scam hosting company. They scammed me out of €900 and never delivered the promised server. You can see how the story unfolded in the following screenshots.
Encouraged by their positive reviews, I initially contacted them wondering whether they had a dedicated server to host our modeling forum. They appeared to indeed have everything we wanted and more.

I was a bit skeptical so they then advised a slightly cheaper server in Hong Kong instead of Europe. This should've raised my alarm because bandwidth is notoriously expensive in Asia.

Delivery was promised in 2-5 days. I couldn't have been more excited.
