Prism Open Source is a small dynamic company located in the Netherlands, founded in 2001 and expert on everything Open Source related, hence the name Prism Open Source. The Prism refers to the prism in optics, we try to be just as sharp and colorful.Our core business consists of deployment, customization and hosting of Open Source software. Our vision is small and medium companies need professional, stable and fast software solutions. With Open Source software they can get the same professional software as they would be getting if they bought an expensive commercial solution. The only problem is, there are no companies to offer any support or continuation certainty.
Thats were our mission comes in: There are numerous Open Source software projects that are as good or even better than commercial equivalents, but without a company to back them up. That's were Prism Open Source comes in. We fill the gap between the Open Source community and the businesses; we offer support, update contracts and more.
