😠 Very poor customer support. If they can't fix via email eventually they will ignore you. You then have too ring them up which then seems to get them moving again.
Unannounced server work restored my old web site and now the sight has gone down again for 24 hrs plus and the fiels are all corrupted.
Emails are now being ignored and twitter they've stopped updating.

😠 Regular downtime and very poor customer service
Recently their entire server array went down for 48 hours. Websites went back up but with a 2 month old backup. Telephone support was closed and told people to check Twitter in which they do a standard tweet every four hours with no explanation at all. Called parent company (M247) and was told the same things with no explanations and no confirmation of when the latest back-up was.
I have given this company the benefit of the doubt so often but this is the final straw. I phone support at least once a month and that is just not acceptable. I even paid extra to have my own dedicated IP for emails due to their normal ones going on spam lists on a weekly basis.
I am now going to move hosts and I warn everyone to avoid this company at all costs.

😠 I would not recommend to use Primehosting.
I was using them since 2004 when they being uh-hosting but than they changed to Primehosting.
Last year my web site was down all the time.
I decided to move to another hosting company.
I would not recommend to use them.

I started hosting sites with UH Hosting many years ago. I can't actually remember when but at least 10 years.
At first when it was just a small company things were ok. I gave them a bit of slack because they were new and the main man James Smith seemed particularly keen to make things work.
He made himself available in various ways so that should a problem arise you could either email him, post on his support forum, speak directly to him on IRC channel, raise a ticket through the support system, or even phone him.
Then a couple of years ago things started to falter. The servers kept crashing, sites going down. The support forums full of people complaining.
I stuck with him. In fact whenever there was a problem I would try and help by suggesting what the problem was, or sending him logs so that he could fathom the problem.
Mostly the issues were resolved quickly. I had to change servers a few times to keep things working.

😃 Excellent control and features.
Price is reasonable however the big benefits are the ease of use, along with the customer support.
I originally was hosted through a reseller account however when my reseller did not match his bills primehosting were very good at moving my site to them directly with similar settings as I had.
The features and flexibility is fantastic in comparison to many other providers and I would wholly recommend.
