😠 I would give 0 stars if I could, this company should be shut down by the police!
I would give 0 stars if I could. This company is run by incompetent thieves and should be shut down by the police and kicked off by their payment provider.
It was all well and nice as long as I was using the service. Good value and stable well working server. However, in June of 2018, I contacted them to cancel the service as I no longer needed it. A ticket response from their customer support confirmed that my service had been terminated and that no further charge would occur.
Despite this, I later discovered that they kept charging my card each month since, up until now in March 2019. In other words they stole huge amounts of money from me over many months. Oh well - honest mistakes can happen to everyone, we're all human after all.
But no! I contacted their customer support to inform them that they had kept charging me despite my service being cancelled, and asked them to refund me my money. Well, I ended up using many hours on this and back and forth for days, but no [read more...]

😠 Online.net Support to their hosting solution is not existing at all.
System are not good enough if you consider also the price/quality that they gave.
Overall if you encounter any problem, don't even try to contact the support: the only thing they do is pointing out for "outsourcing resource" instead of fixing their own sever issues.
Online.net tech support don't even reboot a machine after 24hours of ping downtime and answer to support tickets in arrogant way.
Do not choose online.net
There are plenty of better hosting company out there, at better prices.

😠 I have a dedicated server with online.net. Ofcourse you have to pay for that. But online.net makes it impossible for me to pay. Part of a message from one of their employees:
"First, we allow PayPal after three months old with services paid. For the credit card, we allow only credit card protected by 3d-secure system"
On their website they state that I can pay with Mastercard and Paypal, there are no restrictions. But when trying to pay they come with a lot of additional demands making it impossible for me to pay. A customer can use Paypal only after 3 months. And my Mastercard got rejected because it doesn't have 3d-secure.
These demands are ridiculous. I never saw a company before where I can pay with Paypal only after 3 months. And never saw a company rejecting my credit card because it doesn't have 3d-secure.
And all this time my server is offline. What do they expect ? That I am going to order/find a new credit card company only to pay them ? While my server is [read more...]

😠 So I ordered shared hosting from these guys. I could not understand their management console and figured I don't want to risk moving my main site to a host whose panel I don't understand. Unfortunately, I used my main site when signing up. I requested them to let me host another domain in place of the one I signed up with. I would still be using only 1 domain, 1 database, 1 wp installation etc. But they refused. I had already paid for the year, I asked for refund, they refused. If you read their reviews, you will notice they never offer refunds or help their customers in any way. I already paid for an entire year and I will lost all that money.
Even a crappy $2 host has better support. Finally, online.net is great if you know what you are doing. If you are new-ish, I would suggest to avoid them.

I'm online.net loyal customer for almost 2 years and I've been happy until today when I realize that I pay monthly €11.99 for server priced now (I belive from november 2014) €7.20. It's a monthly rolling contract so I don't see why I can not have new terms=lower price??? I can't accept their offer to cancel old server and buy new one and pay €20 for setup fee while I'm two years with them!!! It's too much hassle! Anyway I already pay €43 extra over new price from November 2014!

I had a domain hosted by them for a couple of years, simply some easy personal information taking up very little space. I bought it because it was cheap, but why save a few bucks and go through all the hassle?
Every time I asked a question I had HORRIBLE customer support. Basically the question wasn't answered at all.
They don't have cpanel, and you can't really do anything with the website.
When I decided to change host they refused to provide me with the information needed to do so. So at the end I just left my website expire, and somebody else took it over. Luckily it was a personal site, and not a business.
Stay away at all costs!!!
