Key milestones include the re-launch of the .dm Registry Platform in partnership with Key-Systems GmbH in 2012 and the deployment of the first Community DNS node in the Caribbean and South America in 2014, enhancing internet security and resilience for .dm domain names. In 2018, DotDM achieved another milestone with the merger of Key-Drive SA and CentralNIC Group PLC, migrating onto the CentralNIC Registry Platform in 2019.
In 2021, DotDM partnered with Uniregistry UNR for Registry Backend Service, enabling the deployment of DNSSEC for .dm domain names. Following Uniregistry UNR's acquisition by Tucows, Inc., further development opportunities arise for improving Internet Governance for ccTLD.dm and Dominica as a whole.
