(3*) 🔧 Services: Web HostingData Center Own datacenter
Multinet Pakistan (Private) Limited was not a typical retail web hosting company built around low-cost shared hosting plans. It was mainly a Pakistani enterprise connectivity, telecom infrastructure, data center and cloud services provider, with hosting-related services included later through its MyCloud platform. For web hosting directories, multinet.com.pk now works better as a dormant/inactive hosting-company profile, because the business identity moved toward enterprise infrastructure, carrier connectivity, managed cloud, cyber security and data center services.

The company was founded in 1996 by Mr. Adnan Asdar Ali and Mr. Nasser Khan Ghazi. It started as a branded reseller of internet and data connectivity services, then developed into one of Pakistan’s important private digital infrastructure operators. In 2006, TM International / Axiata (axiata.com) acquired a major 89% stake, while Axiata exited in November 2018, with shareholding returning to Mr. Adnan Asdar Ali. This 2018 ownership transition is the clearest dated business-change event, although it was not a company shutdown.

Multinet’s strongest historical value came from its national infrastructure footprint. The company operated thousands of kilometers of optical fiber, connected enterprise and financial sites, served cellular towers, and worked across more than 120 cities and towns in Pakistan. Its older service portfolio covered Metro Ethernet, IP MPLS, Global MPLS, IP VPN, IP Transit, IPLC, DPLC, Tower Fiber, VSAT, data center services, cloud computing, server/application hosting, managed services, voice/video conferencing and information security.

The hosting side became more visible through MyCloud, launched in 2013 as Multinet’s enterprise cloud platform. MyCloud covered Infrastructure as a Service, cloud computing, cloud web hosting, email hosting, storage, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, DNS services, database services, load balancing, containers/Kubernetes, security tools and managed cloud services. This made Multinet relevant for hosting workloads, but mainly for enterprise customers rather than small website owners looking for simple shared hosting.

A later development was the expansion of MyCloud into high-performance infrastructure, including GPU-as-a-Service for AI workloads. This confirmed that Multinet’s hosting role had shifted into a broader onshore cloud and digital infrastructure model.

💰 Price & Cost

Multinet did not operate like a budget shared hosting brand with simple public cPanel packages. Its pricing model was more suitable for enterprise connectivity, data center, managed infrastructure and customized cloud services.

The MyCloud platform used prices in USD. Web hosting packages included Spark from $125/month for Linux and $150/month for Windows, while Ignite started from $175/month for Linux and $200/month for Windows, with annual subscription discounts available. These packages included enterprise hardware, 2 GB DDR4 RAM, 50 GB disk space, unlimited bandwidth, 10 domains, web-based administration, DDoS protection, dedicated IP, RAID 5, SSL support, backups, FTP accounts and 24Ă—7 technical support.

For IaaS, plans included Startup from $69/month for Linux, Lite from $129/month, Standard from $228/month, and Premier from $309/month, with Windows options priced higher on several plans. These packages included vCPU resources, SSD storage, CIR bandwidth with DDoS mitigation, public IP, monthly snapshots and standard 24/7 support. Larger enterprise projects were handled through consultation.

🏢 Data Center

Multinet’s infrastructure was one of its main advantages. The company operated carrier-neutral data center services in Pakistan for enterprises, carriers and cloud customers needing local hosting, redundancy and secure facilities.

Its data center footprint was associated with Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, with MyCloud hosted locally in Pakistan. The platform also included geographically separated cloud clusters, local data sovereignty benefits and enterprise disaster-recovery options.

The data center service covered carrier-neutral access, colocation, disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, rack/cabinet services, remote support, network redundancy and multilayer protection against power, physical, network and connectivity disruptions. Multinet used Tier 3 compliant infrastructure, N+1 redundancy, and a 99.99% reliability / SLA positioning for data center, TowerNet and managed services.

✍️ Customer Support

Support was designed for enterprise and carrier clients rather than casual shared-hosting users. Multinet provided assistance through phone/UAN numbers and dedicated email channels, including support@multinet and cloud@multinet.

MyCloud and managed services included 24/7 technical support, while managed service operations extended to 24/7/365 coverage. Support options included phone, email, account management, help desk style assistance, monitoring, on-site enterprise support and customer care for telecom/tower services.

🔨 Control Panel

The hosting packages used a web-based admin interface. MyCloud IaaS plans also included self-service portal access on higher tiers, with monitoring tools and alerts available on selected packages. The platform was not centered around a normal shared-hosting control panel; it followed an enterprise cloud portal model with account management and technical support.

For cloud and managed infrastructure, the control experience included self-service deployment, one-click deployment, cloud resource upgrades, monitoring, alerts, SSL VPN access and managed firewall/security options. This matched Multinet’s enterprise cloud direction rather than a traditional low-cost hosting brand.

🎯 Conclusion

Multinet Pakistan remained more important as a telecom, connectivity, data center and enterprise cloud company than as a conventional web hosting brand. For WHTop-style hosting directories, multinet.com.pk should be treated as an inactive or dormant hosting-company profile, because the original hosting-oriented identity no longer represents the main business direction.

Its strongest points were the national fiber footprint, enterprise client base, Pakistani data center presence, local MyCloud platform, 24/7 support model and long telecom background. It was never the most natural choice for small shared-hosting buyers, but it became a serious option for enterprises needing Pakistani-hosted cloud, connectivity, colocation, disaster recovery or managed infrastructure.
