😞 Hosting seemed like a good price and initially they seems like a good company. But with the first real problem, I can't seem to get them to act. I have a shared plan and when I sent an email to a client, it bounced from the Monsterhost IP address being listed with Spamhaus. That was four days ago and they still can't seem to resolve the problem.
They did offer me a private IP address, at a yearly cost. Seems a bit of a bait and switch. Here is a hosting plan at this price. Here is a hosting plan that works, at a higher price.

MonsterHost is now an inactive / migrated hosting brand. The monsterhost.com domain no longer works as a standalone hosting provider and now redirects to the MonsterHost transition page under hosting.com. Existing MonsterHost accounts, hosting products, billing details, data and login access were moved under the hosting.com platform, so the brand should be treated as closed rather than active.
MonsterHost was a Luxembourg-based web hosting provider that operated under the wider Zonat / LuxHosting hosting portfolio. The brand was active for more than a decade and served mainly small businesses, agencies, developers and website owners looking for straightforward European hosting. Frederick "Freddy" Schiwek was the key executive figure behind Zonat Sàrl, the company structure that included MonsterHost, LuxHosting and Hosting.co.uk. This portfolio was acquired by World Host Group in December 2023, with the deal officially announced on 2 January 2024.
The old MonsterHost service range covered most common hosting needs: shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS hosting, VDS hosting, dedicated servers, domain registration, domain transfers, SSL certificates, email hosting, website builder, WordPress hosting, WooCommerce hosting, backup and general website migration services. Their strongest identity was affordable European hosting with cPanel-style management, Luxembourg infrastructure, GDPR-friendly positioning and practical support for non-enterprise users.

MonsterHost was focused on accessible hosting prices rather than high-end enterprise pricing. The company used a 30-day money-back guarantee for eligible hosting services, which made the plans safer for first-time users and small businesses testing the platform. Domain registration was sold separately, with pricing depending on the selected extension.
