Mambo is the last one year have really improved its hosting services including speed and other advanced services like CDN using cloudflare. If i was to rate Kenya best hosting company, I would rank mambo as number one. Other areas include the new advanced website builder and free Google Apps tool in the cPanel. Uptime is now above 99%. Keep up the good job

I transferred my website from another host to mambo.co.ke and the service I received was simply awesome. They have a very responsive and prompt support, a great understanding of my specific needs.
Actually, I was dismayed when I came across this review site and noticed some very negative reviews. I wonder if these negative reviews came from direct competitors with Mambo. I got very professional support, the phones were promptly answered even at night, with even the CEO of the company getting directly in touch with me.
If you are not happy with Mambo.co.ke, then you really do not know what a professional hosting service feels like.
I would not go for any other web hosting service now. Mambo is my choice for life.

Mambo has proved to be one of the most reliable hosting services that anyone should go for. They have remained consistent in their service, with a perfect uptime for all my hosted websites with them.
Recently, they explained they had an attack to their services, which they quickly responded to. This was, in all the over 3 years I have hosted with them, the only time I experienced a downtime. I now have a site that does all my transactions at the click of a button, is hosted by what I would call an African Giant in hosting and web solutions, and is user friendly.

Mambo Microsystems guys are just fantastic people. Services unbelievable. Its hard to imagine that you can have such a young web service company with such advance technological know how more than the big boys. I tried a number of big company to enable me acquire a website with ecommerce capability in vain. I built one site after the other but i could not get ecommerce capability that i wanted. Non of the site could process credit cards online. One site would take more than 4 month to complete. Not until i meet this guys through Google. On their site they indicated they accept visa, mastercard, American express JCB and Mpesa. Before i could buy from them, i placed an order and selected visa. Then i used my cooperative bank visa card to settle the payment. I could not beleive when the system returned transaction was successfully and i receive an sms notification from my bank that the exact amount had been deducted from my account by Mambo Microsystems. I instantly called the guys using the contact they had provided on their website to organize for a meeting. When we meet, i was amazed, a very young guy by the name James was the company owner. First I asked him if he has a bank account in U.S.A to acquire online merchant status which was a requirement of most payment processors i had tried in the past. He looked at me and asked, why? with a smile. I narrated the paid i have gone through trying to acquire such status and the amount of money i have spent. He told me, What most people lack is the information. You actually dont need a USA. bank account to accept payment online. You can achieve that right here in Kenya. It was interesting, an online payment processor for kenya? God know how i had looked for that solution. To cut the long story short, i was accepting credit card on my website in less than 2 weeks including web design. Today, i tell my friends, if you need a web hosting service or a website, the place to go is www.mambo.co.ke. Bravo Mambo Microsystems guys for bringing ecommerce services in kenya at a fraction of the cost and your affordable hosting services.

Mambo have always been the best hosting provider in kenya for several years now and that is a fact. Based on the statistics and the number of .KE registered under Mambo inspite of relatively high price, there is definitely something clients find in mambo they cant get from other hosts. On May, mambo experienced one of their worst outage in some servers with uptime going below 90%. This was awful. Terrible. But I also consider the fact that, they took trouble to explain and to provide detailed notifications to affected clients until the issue was fully resolved. I have a several domain in their new infrastructure code named smart and its now recording even 100.00% uptime within 21 days. What I am happy about Mambo is, if they get a serious problem, they dont seat and relax. They do something and emerge even better. 😠 Quality dropping drastically
At the beginning mambo was the best for me. fast easy, with online support. I used to create few website for some clients. Unfortunately recently the quality of the service has dropped. for more than 3 months all the website I did using mambo are always down. Support don't reply to my emails, via chat they tell me only "please bare with us". I'm planning to involve the lawyer to get refund for all website that are not working. It is sad, but maybe they cannot keep up with all the users.

🗨 In the month of May and Part of June, we experienced one of the worst uptime in some servers located in Houston, TX. The issue affected more than 20% of our client and we worked very hard to bring the situation under control. We today record highest up-time in those servers more than any other. Sometime achieving an uptime of 100% within 21 day. I host several websites with different companies all over ther world. So far, I think mambo is the best when it comes to technical customer support. This is the first host provider to come across who will check issues with your script if it have say permission or generating 500 error. I host a Joomla websaite with Mambo and let me say I am very impressed with how they handle me in-case I have difficulties. Overall Mambo Microsystems is the best hosting service provider I strongly approve. It is amazing, that an African hosting company is bale to give some features that even some Giant host providers in America and Europe are unwilling to offer to their customers like free site builder, free script installation, free domain and above all amazing technical support.

I have to be very honest I have never experienced good customer care with the required technical know how. All I usually get is lousy support in the form being put on "hold while waiting for the technical team". At mambo however whenever my site was down all i did was make a call or ask for a chat and my problem would be looked into. The most amazing thing is that their customer care is available 24/7 the first of it's kind in Kenya.

😁 When you compare mambo with other companies in kenya, you actually get no comparison at all. It is one of the yourgest (about 4 years now) yet their services are incomparable. Mambo is without spicing the kenya best and reliable hosting company. Offering unlimited/unmetered hosting in terms of space and bandwidth means this company must have invested in enormous resources and infrustructure. By the time i was learning about mambo unlimited hosting, I only new a few US company offering this feature. At first i just wanted to by hosting services from them and have my ecommerce website designed by an Idian firm. But during sign up, i realized mambo.co.ke itself accept credit cards and employ SSL for secure transactions. I also notice the secure seal from comodo indicating that that site is secure and Authentic. To be honest, at first, i highly doubted that the company was owned by a Kenyan. I began a live chat to ask about transferring my domain over to you. Your sales rep immediately asked me to hold, and very politely told me he was transferring me to a "senior sales representative." I didn't get his/her
name, but that person should be thanked - it made me feel great to have a "senior" person on my case. Then, Kristina came on line and was extremely helpful. I needed a bit more information at my end before switching, and we hung up. She then sent me an email. This extra follow-up now REALLY makes me feel like a valued customer. Plus, Kristina writes grammatically and carefully, so she presents that professional image that makes me - a scared neophyte - feel more secure.

There cost is quite affordable with a free billing software, whm and many fantastic script that i install to my clients with a mere click.
