😁 Been with them for about 3 years. Excellent support and service. Their techs will routinely go way beyond the typical support that other hosts will provide. I had a shopping cart that had problems and their tech support helped me isolate the issue which was code related and fixed it for me at no cost. On other occasions I received various advise as to how to optimize my site for better performance and connections to MS SQL. I have used two other hosts prior to ActiveHost and again I can attest that without any hesitation these guys know MS Windows hosting very well.

😞 They have some decent services (at least relative to some other horrible hosters), but their site is also misleading in sooo many ways, if they were just more up-front about everything it might not be so bad:
1. the basic plan does NOT include MS SQL Server, so you'd have to migrate your MS based databases to MySQL!
2. Support says: "phone", "live chat", but live chat always seems to say no rep is available (I've looked 4 times at normal business hours) and when I call (no phone number on support section but you can find it), I have to leave my name and number and they'll 'get back to me'
3. Says free 15 day trial, but they don't cummunicate how this works at all when you sign up -- the only option is give them your credit card number and get charged, and then be smart enough to call back I guess?
4. Says One Free one year domain name registration, but again, you simply get charged right away for it, and no kind of message if when how this charge goes away if at all???
