The Village is established in 1997 in Rennes (Brittany, France). Our team maintains and develops the site LeVillage.Org serving all its hosted.

Technical infrastructure
LeVillage.Org owns all its infrastructure and offers its customers access to high-speed internet with a fully based on an optical fiber network connection. This technology highly reliable currently offers the best performance.

Data center: The technical infrastructure of the village is hosted in the data center Telecity Paris, located outside Paris in Aubervilliers (93) - France. This building is constructed according to the highest safety standards at the level of access, electricity, IP network, air conditioning and fire safety defined by the holding Télécity.

Security: Access the data center is fully secure and under constant surveillance. Cameras are positioned at strategic locations.

Cooling / Temperature Control: Ambient air is maintained between 20 and 24 ° Celsius and the humidity at 50% (- 5%) for optimum server performance. The temperature is controlled directly to the back of the servers.

Power supply: The building has two EDF arrival of 800kVA. In the event of grid failure, two generators allow the operation of servers for 48 hours. The generators are close to fuel sources.

Sprinkler system: The computer center is equipped with a fire-based fire detection system connected to an alarm center supervised by a team able to intervene in minutes. All the equipment is placed on particularly isolated systems: oversized wiring and special attention on possible points of combustion.

Servers: LeVillage brand primarily uses dual processor servers DELL and Supermicro.

Data security: All our hosting servers are equipped with SCSI RAID 5. The RAID 5 system ensures optimal security of your data. We have spare hard drive to replace a disk that hot would déffectueux, and this without any service interruption.

Antivirus and antispam: All incoming and outgoing emails pass through our network of antivirus Fortigate. The antivirus system E-trend Micro updates its database of virus / spyware / NIDS every 4 hours. This ensures a continuous updating which provides protection against the latest viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware and other threats, and this 24/24 worldwide.

Daily backup: All your data (website, database) are backed up daily and this over a period of seven days. This allows us in case of major problems reinstalling your data in minimal time.

Monitoring: a remote monitoring system allows us to monitor the health of servers 7 days on 7 and 24 hours on 24. Any malfunction causes sending an alert to mobile phone service technician.
