📄 Editorial Review
(3*) 🔧 Services: Web HostingDomain RegistrationIberonet is an independent Spanish hosting provider established in 1999 and operated by Iberonet Internet S.L.U. from Benidorm, Alicante. The legal company was incorporated in 2001, while its hosting activity began two years earlier. Founder and CEO J. Manzanares remains directly involved in the business.
The company is privately financed and independent of national or international investment groups. More than 3,000 companies and approximately 30,000 users have relied on its services over the years. Iberonet Internet S.L.U. is also registered in Spain as an electronic communications operator authorized to provide data transmission and email services. Its compact organizational structure gives it a more personal character than the large multinational hosting groups operating in Spain.
Iberonet concentrates primarily on managed infrastructure rather than low-cost, self-service hosting. Its portfolio includes managed web hosting, WordPress hosting, application hosting, reseller hosting, managed VPS, root bare-metal servers, dedicated servers, domain registration, email backup, cloud backup, premium technical support, and external server administration. System administration is also available for servers hosted outside Iberonet’s own service platform.
The managed web hosting range is suitable for freelancers, small businesses, agencies, corporate websites, and online stores. Accounts include allocated CPU and RAM resources, SSD storage, unlimited traffic, free SSL certificates, daily backups, a separate additional backup, malware scanning, firewall protection, anti-DDoS filtering, multiple PHP versions, email accounts, webmail, databases, Git, Composer, scheduled tasks, and Python support.
Eligible annual hosting subscriptions include a free .ES, .COM, or .EU domain during the first year. This helps reduce the initial cost of launching a business website, although the normal renewal rate applies after the promotional period.
Dedicated hosting options are available for WordPress, PrestaShop, Joomla, Magento, OpenCart, and Drupal. These plans combine managed hosting with simplified installation, migration assistance, security configuration, and application-specific optimization. WordPress users receive WP Toolkit for centralized installation, cloning, updating, integrity checking, and security management.
The reseller hosting platform is aimed at web designers, developers, and agencies that want to sell hosting without maintaining the underlying servers themselves. Packages support 30, 60, or 100 subscriptions and include unlimited domains and mailboxes, free SSL certificates, CloudLinux account isolation, WordPress management tools, daily backups with 30-day retention, and an additional off-site backup.
White-label technical support is one of the more valuable reseller features. Iberonet can manage the technical incidents behind the scenes while the agency retains the commercial relationship with its own clients.
The managed VPS range is one of Iberonet’s strongest services. VPS packages use NVMe storage, dedicated resource allocations, unlimited traffic, and network connections of up to 1 Gbit/s. Management includes Plesk, CloudLinux, KernelCare, proactive monitoring, operating-system updates, security hardening, firewall administration, anti-DDoS protection, malware scanning, daily backups, 30-day retention, additional off-site backup capacity, and disaster-recovery assistance.
Technical management extends beyond basic network and hardware availability. Assistance covers Apache, PHP, MySQL, email-server problems, performance analysis, application logs, security incidents, and configuration troubleshooting. Iberonet also commits not to oversubscribe VPS memory or CPU allocations, an important consideration for customers running busy business websites or ecommerce stores.
Customers requiring complete administrative access can choose root bare-metal cloud servers with Linux, root credentials, NVMe storage, backup capacity, and the Vesta control panel. These products provide more freedom than the managed VPS range but require the customer to handle much of the server administration. The standard bare-metal configurations are currently unavailable, so availability should be confirmed before planning a migration.
The dedicated server catalog includes unmanaged root servers, fully managed business servers, high-core-count AMD EPYC configurations, and GPU servers intended for artificial intelligence, rendering, scientific processing, and other computational workloads.
Managed dedicated servers include installation, security hardening, continuous monitoring, operating-system updates, Plesk administration, daily backups, 30-day backup retention, malware protection, firewall configuration, anti-DDoS mitigation, performance tuning, and disaster recovery. The upper part of the range can include hundreds of gigabytes of ECC memory, multi-terabyte NVMe arrays, 10 Gbit/s connectivity, and Nvidia professional graphics cards.
Iberonet also provides email backup, creating scheduled IMAP copies of incoming and outgoing messages. Individual emails or complete mailboxes can be restored when messages are deleted, damaged, or lost during a migration.
The cloud backup platform uses Nextcloud and supports file synchronization from desktop computers and mobile devices. Available capacities range from 1 TB to 10 TB, making the service suitable for document storage, team synchronization, remote access, and secondary business backups.
Premium WordPress intervention and monthly server-administration services are available for customers needing website repair, malware removal, security work, optimization, or advanced Linux administration. This gives Iberonet a broader technical role than a standard shared-hosting provider.
The main website is in Spanish, while the customer portal supports English, Catalan, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Chinese, Arabic, and several additional languages. Products are sold in EUR.
The main website has a dated and text-heavy appearance compared with modern hosting storefronts. Some sections use inconsistent capitalization, and several headline prices differ from the values displayed in the shopping cart. The customer portal is more modern, organized, and easier to navigate. Customers should confirm the final configuration, renewal price, activation charge, stock status, and contractual conditions before completing an order.
💰 Price & Cost
Entry-level managed hosting begins with a promotional rate of €4.99 per month for the first 12 months, followed by a regular price of approximately €11 per month. The promotional configuration includes 50 GB of SSD storage, 1.5 GB of RAM, and one allocated CPU resource.
Higher-capacity business hosting packages are available for websites requiring more memory, processing capacity, storage, or separate subscriptions. Reseller hosting begins at approximately €30 per month under the indicated annual payment arrangement.
The managed VPS range begins with a configuration offering 2 vCPU, 6 GB of RAM, 30 GB of NVMe storage, and 100 GB of cloud backup. This plan costs €1 per month during the first three months, followed by €12 per month.
The next configuration includes 4 vCPU, 12 GB of RAM, 60 GB of NVMe storage, and 200 GB of backup capacity. It also costs €1 per month during the first three months, followed by €25 per month.
A larger VPS with 8 vCPU, 24 GB of RAM, 120 GB of NVMe storage, and 400 GB of backup costs approximately €65 per month. An annual order includes one month without charge.
Root bare-metal cloud servers have appeared at prices beginning around €9 per month, although the regular configurations are currently unavailable.
Dedicated servers begin at approximately €99 per month for an unmanaged Intel Core i5-13500 system with 64 GB of RAM and two 512 GB NVMe drives. A fully managed configuration using similar hardware costs around €199 per month.
More powerful AMD EPYC servers begin near €350 per month. A 96-core configuration with 384 GB of ECC memory, two 3.8 TB NVMe drives, and 10 Gbit/s connectivity reaches approximately €1,500 per month. A GPU system equipped with an Nvidia RTX 4000 SFF Ada card costs around €499 per month. Dedicated-server activation fees may apply.
Email backup costs approximately €4.95 per month for 15 GB, €9 per month for 30 GB, and €30 per month for 100 GB. Another entry-level offer begins at approximately €0.99 per mailbox, depending on the selected package.
Cloud backup is available in 1 TB, 5 TB, and 10 TB capacities. The 1 TB package has appeared at both €8.33 and €19.99 per month in different parts of the ordering process, so the final checkout price should be confirmed before purchase.
Domain-registration prices are competitive for the first year. A .ES domain costs approximately €4.99, a .COM domain approximately €10.99, and a .EU domain approximately €8.75. Registration, transfer, and renewal prices are not identical. A .COM renewal, for example, costs around €18.
Invoices are issued electronically in PDF format. Confirmed payment methods include credit or debit card and bank transfer. Published prices exclude VAT, with the applicable tax calculated according to the customer’s billing information and location.
A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to eligible hosting and VPS subscriptions. Domain-registration costs, installation expenses, management work, and refund-transfer costs may be deducted from the refunded amount.
The contractual terms updated on May 26, 2026 exclude domain registrations and renewals, subscription renewals, service upgrades, dedicated servers, bare-metal servers, and system-administration work from the 30-day guarantee.
Some dedicated-server sections still refer to a 30-day refund period. The written contract excludes dedicated and bare-metal servers, so any exceptional refund arrangement should be obtained in writing before payment.
The standard contract establishes a duration of 12 months with automatic renewal for equal periods unless cancellation is communicated at least 30 days before expiration. A separate pre-sales FAQ indicates that there is no permanence requirement. The selected billing term, renewal conditions, and cancellation deadline should therefore be checked carefully during ordering.
Consumers also retain a statutory 14-day withdrawal right where applicable. Legal exceptions can apply once a requested digital service has been fully activated or performed with the customer’s consent.
🏢 Data Center
Iberonet uses three data centers located within the European Union. The facilities follow ISO/IEC 27001:2013 information-security requirements and include controlled physical access, permanent security personnel, CCTV monitoring, raised flooring, environmental controls, fire-detection and suppression systems, redundant hardware, and energy-efficient infrastructure.
The network uses BGP4 redundancy, allowing traffic to move through an alternative route when a provider or connection becomes unavailable. Infrastructure protections include NVMe storage, replication across three components for selected services, proactive monitoring, geographically separated backups, firewalls, anti-DDoS filtering, and disaster-recovery procedures.
Connectivity and peering include TelefĂłnica (telefonica.com), Google, Vodafone (vodafone.com), Microsoft, Cloudflare, Facebook (facebook.com), Amazon, Hydra Communications, and British Telecom (bt.com).
Internet-exchange capacity includes 1,300 Gbit/s through DE-CIX, 400 Gbit/s through AMS-IX, 200 Gbit/s through ECIX, 200 Gbit/s through FICIX, and 200 Gbit/s through LINX.
Additional 100 Gbit/s exchange connections are associated with Data-IX/Global-IX, STH-IX, NL-IX, Netnod, Speed-IX, VIX, and France-IX.
Historical Iberonet-branded hostnames within the 213.149.240.0/20 network are routed through AS16371, operated by acens Technologies. This network association applies to part of Iberonet’s historical infrastructure and does not necessarily cover every current VPS or dedicated-server platform.
The most commonly used availability target is 99.99%, while application-hosting and dedicated-server sections generally refer to 99.9% uptime. A general website header also displays 99% guaranteed uptime.
The contract provides proportional compensation when an attributable service interruption remains continuous for more than 24 hours. It does not include a conventional enterprise SLA table with escalating service credits. Customers requiring a strict availability agreement should obtain the exact uptime target and compensation conditions in writing for the selected service.
A separate UptimeRobot status page allows customers to follow the availability of monitored systems.
✍️ Customer Support
Technical support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for hosting, VPS, and dedicated-server incidents. The primary support channel is the ticket system inside the customer portal. Assistance is also available by email, telephone, and callback request.
Urgent infrastructure problems receive priority. Standard technical requests submitted during normal business hours generally have a response target of no more than 30 minutes. Several service sections refer to an initial response within approximately 10 minutes, although complicated application, security, migration, or recovery work can require additional investigation.
The support scope is considerably broader than basic hardware and network assistance. Managed customers can receive help with migrations, WordPress, PHP, Apache, MySQL, mail servers, log analysis, firewall rules, security incidents, operating-system updates, backup restoration, performance problems, and disaster recovery.
A detailed knowledge base covers domain management, email configuration, phishing, SSL certificates, server security, SSH access, WordPress, PHP versions, Plesk, and dedicated-server administration. Network incidents and maintenance events can also be followed through the status page.
Premium services include a one-time managed WordPress intervention costing approximately €199. A monthly premium-support package costs around €90 and covers up to three incidents or one hour of work on a single server.

🔨 Control Panel
Plesk is the main control panel used for managed web hosting, VPS, and managed dedicated servers. It provides centralized management for websites, domains, DNS zones, databases, email accounts, SSL certificates, backups, logs, scheduled tasks, and PHP settings.
WordPress subscriptions include WP Toolkit, allowing customers to install, clone, update, secure, and monitor WordPress websites from a single dashboard. It is particularly useful for agencies and developers managing multiple installations.
CloudLinux separates shared-hosting accounts and assigns specific resource limits to each customer. This helps prevent one website from consuming excessive CPU, memory, or disk resources and affecting neighboring accounts.
Managed VPS configurations also include KernelCare for security updates with fewer reboots. Imunify provides malware detection, file scanning, and additional server-protection functions.
Root bare-metal cloud servers include Vesta as the control-panel option. Some older dedicated-server configurations have used cPanel, but Plesk remains the standard panel across the active managed range.
The customer area is separate from the hosting control panel and handles subscriptions, authorized users, domains, tickets, invoices, payments, billing details, renewals, and new service orders. This portal supports more than 20 interface languages.
🎯 Conclusion
Iberonet is a strong choice for Spanish-speaking businesses that value personal technical assistance, managed administration, daily backups, security management, and disaster recovery more than the lowest possible infrastructure price. Its long operating history, continued founder involvement, independent ownership, and broad technical-service portfolio provide a level of continuity that is not always available from larger hosting groups. Customers can begin with an ordinary managed website and later move to a VPS, dedicated server, high-core-count EPYC system, or GPU platform without changing provider.
The managed VPS packages offer particularly good value because Plesk, monitoring, security hardening, daily backups, off-site storage, operating-system management, and application-level assistance are already included. Reseller hosting is also attractive for agencies that need white-label infrastructure and technical support without maintaining an internal server team.
The main limitations concern commercial clarity. Some prices differ between the main website and the final order process, bare-metal stock is limited, uptime percentages are not consistent across every service, and the refund wording for dedicated servers conflicts with the current contract.
The company website also looks dated compared with current hosting storefronts, although the customer portal is more modern and easier to use.
Customers should confirm the renewal price, activation fee, billing period, cancellation procedure, refund eligibility, server location, uptime commitment, included management, and backup capacity before ordering. With those details documented, Iberonet is a credible option for customers seeking an experienced Spanish hosting provider with direct and technically capable managed support.
