😁 I had no prior knowledge about Hostworld before I signed up for their VPS hosting services, but I was pleasantly surprised by their impressive plans and services. If you're looking for a reliable hosting provider that offers storage VPS hosting services, DedicatedCore is a great option to consider. I personally use Dedicatedcore for my other sites. Both providers have an offer with a wide range of options, including the popular OpenVZ hypervisor to meet the needs of individuals and businesses alike.

😠 Terrible. the site is constantly crashing due to their server 'upgrades'. Meanwhile they promised weekly auto backups which failed and now the site has been lost

😁 Couple of years ago I wanted to test a VPS to compare with my current hosting. The hostworld's VPS was fast, easy to setup and competitively priced. I still had a year or so left on my account so I waited. When it was time to renew I decided to try a few different hosts and settled on hostworld.uk for shared hosting. Super pleased with it.
I've helped people over the years with their websites and hosting for them. Including those I've tried myself, I'd say about 10 hosting companies and a few VPS providers.
This is as fast as it gets network wise if you are in the UK. My page load times are really good. The deal you get with the advanced hosting (e.g. 100GB SSD space) was better than most at the same price.
I wrote this review because the only other review really isn't representative.

😠 Stay Away, Step Away for Windows VPS.

I recently purchased VPS-3 4CPU and 4GB ram, it took a day to setup my website (Static file hosting for Single Page Application) in VPS which has very less workload.

Suddenly my website was down and VPS is suspended, without any notification from hostworld.

They told VPS was penalized for high CPU usage, I didn't do anything wrong.

Portal shows I need to upgrade 3 CPU in order to enable immediately, "you can remove 1 penalty every 7 days yourself".

I am in this industry for 10 years and we can't control the CPU utilization from user end.

Good thing is they re-funded my amount. But I need to raise a ticket to refund the amount after cancelling the server.

My questions:
1. One day investment went waste on setting up the server.
2. Why there is no email notification for penalties
3. Why there is no email notification for VPS suspended
4. Why can't you provide a VPS with 95% max utilization, so it cannot be Penalized
