HiNet is part of Chunghwa Telecom Data Communication Branch ( https://www.cht.com.tw/ ), together with other sister-companies, such as HiHosting and HiCloud. The corporation was founded back in 1981 and the rest of the branches were established once the technology they are based on became available.
The company offers hosting and domain services to their customers, like:

Shared hosting packages run on both Linux and Windows OS and these all support databases (MSSQL, MySQL, MariaDB) and script languages (ASP.NET, phpMyAdmin, PHP 5.5/5.6). CMS are also available (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal) and security is guaranteed through the included SSL certificates.
