😁 Keep doing the awesome service you are doing
I've chosen gomanilahost.net for a matter of budget and was very skeptic at first but let me say gomanilahost.net web services has nothing to envy to other most prestigious hosting companies. Their service is up to the world standards and support is fast and accurate, you won't get any better best value for money hosting. I may use gomanilahost.net for a very very long time. (3*) 🔧 Services: Web HostingDomain RegistrationGoManilaHost is a Philippine web hosting and infrastructure provider founded by Abner Aganta on September 28, 2012. The business began in Malabon City under the VPSRO Hosting name, initially concentrating on affordable Linux virtual servers. Reseller hosting and additional VPS services followed in 2013, while the MyHosting Philippines brand appeared later that year. The present gomanilahost.net domain and GoManilaHost.Net Web Services identity were adopted in December 2015.
The privately held company operates from Cotabato City and serves customers well beyond the Philippines. Its activity includes more than 1,550 registered domains, 3,570 hosted websites and 2,660 customers across approximately 60 countries. Although it remains a relatively compact provider, its product range is considerably broader than that of many small regional hosting companies.
The catalog includes cPanel shared hosting, WordPress hosting, domain registration, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, BlueStacks VPS, professional email, VPN access, SSL certificates, spam filtering, website security, remote backups, server monitoring, SEO tools and a website builder. Dedicated servers are covered by the service terms, although they are not currently offered through a complete public catalog with standard configurations and prices. Reseller hosting was part of the company’s earlier service range but is no longer included among the principal storefront categories.
Shared hosting is aimed at personal websites, blogs, small companies and agencies that prefer a conventional cPanel environment without the responsibility of managing a server. Accounts use NVMe SSD storage in RAID-10, CloudLinux isolation, CageFS, LiteSpeed, multiple PHP versions, Node.js, Python, Ruby, MySQL, SSH access, ModSecurity and ImunifyAV. Softaculous provides one-click application installation, while free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates, email hosting, website migration and backup restoration are included.
Storage begins at 1 GB with the Starter package and reaches 25 GB with Enterprise. Starter supports one website, while Enterprise permits unlimited websites, email accounts, databases, FTP accounts and subdomains. Business and Enterprise include unrestricted monthly bandwidth, and selected annual packages include domain registration at no additional charge.
The WordPress packages use the same cPanel, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed and NVMe foundation, with LiteSpeed Cache improving WordPress performance. The range begins with a small single-site package and reaches an Enterprise account with 50 GB of storage and support for unlimited websites. These plans work well for customers who want inexpensive WordPress hosting without requiring a heavily managed environment with staging systems, collaborative development tools or specialist WordPress consulting.
The VPS catalog is one of the company’s strongest areas. Linux KVM servers are available in the Philippines, India, Singapore, Japan, Australia, the United States, Europe, Cambodia, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Brazil and South Africa. Identified cities include Manila, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, São Paulo and Johannesburg.
Linux VPS packages generally include KVM virtualization, SSD or NVMe storage, full root access, one IPv4 address, predefined operating-system images and monthly transfer allowances ranging from 1 TB to 5 TB. Available systems include CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky Linux and FreeBSD. IPv6 is not included in the published test-network information, while outbound SMTP port 25 is permanently blocked on VPS servers. Customers planning to operate their own mail infrastructure should take this restriction into account.
Windows VPS packages are available in Manila and across the broader international location network. The Windows license is included in the monthly cost. BlueStacks VPS packages add the Android emulator for applications and games. Standard international Windows VPS services do not include DDoS protection, although a separate American KVM category provides protection with capacity of up to 10 Gbps.
GoManilaHost’s VPN service covers 53 locations and supports as many as ten devices. It includes OpenVPN over UDP or TCP, IKEv2, L2TP/IPsec and PPTP, unlimited downloads and applications for major desktop, mobile and television platforms. P2P traffic is permitted, and the service follows a no-logging policy.
Professional email is based on OX App Suite and combines custom-domain mailboxes with webmail, calendars, contacts, tasks, CalDAV, CardDAV and an account-migration utility. The Productivity edition adds cloud file storage and browser-based editing for text documents, spreadsheets and presentations. The interface supports English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese.
Additional communication services include incoming and outgoing spam filtering, email archiving and SpamPanel access. Other optional products cover SSL certificates, malware scanning and removal, daily off-site website backups, file-change monitoring, SEO analysis, server monitoring, website monitoring and a responsive drag-and-drop website builder with ecommerce features.
English is the main website language, with occasional Filipino wording and localized client-area routes. Prices are primarily shown in Philippine pesos, while the ordering system can also display US dollars. The interface works on smaller screens, but the visual design and some of the written content appear dated. References to Horde, SquirrelMail, Flash, Shockwave, FrontPage and other legacy technologies remain in several areas, even though the main hosting platform uses more modern infrastructure.
💰 Price & Cost
Shared hosting remains inexpensive by Philippine market standards. Starter costs ₱45 per month or ₱450 per year, Standard costs ₱100 per month or ₱1,000 per year, Business costs ₱250 per month or ₱2,500 per year, and Enterprise costs ₱500 per month or ₱5,000 per year.
WordPress hosting begins at ₱450 per year and reaches ₱5,000 per year for the largest package. Selected annual shared and WordPress plans include a free domain, although the domain cost is deducted from any eligible hosting refund.
Linux VPS pricing varies according to the server region. India, Singapore, Japan, Australia, US and Europe packages generally begin at ₱750 per month for 1 GB of RAM and reach ₱4,250 per month for 8 GB. Philippine and wider regional VPS packages usually begin at ₱1,000 for 2 GB of RAM, followed by ₱2,000 for 4 GB, ₱4,000 for 8 GB and ₱8,000 for 16 GB.
Windows VPS packages begin at approximately ₱2,200 per month for 4 GB of RAM. Configurations with 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB cost approximately ₱4,200, ₱8,200 and ₱16,200 per month. The Windows license is already included.
A .com domain costs approximately ₱800 per year, while .net and .org registrations are around ₱1,000. Philippine extensions such as .ph, .com.ph, .net.ph and .org.ph cost approximately ₱2,000 per year. Domain privacy, registry locking and multi-year registrations are also available.
VPN access costs ₱150 monthly, ₱450 quarterly, ₱900 semiannually or ₱1,800 annually. New customers can receive a 20% introductory discount with the VPN20 promotional code.
Standard OX App Suite email costs ₱119.40 per user per month. The Productivity edition costs ₱179.40 per user per month. Incoming or outgoing spam filtering starts at ₱179.40 per domain per month. PositiveSSL certificates cost ₱600 per year, while RapidSSL costs ₱900 per year.
The website builder begins at ₱119.40, while the largest ecommerce editions reach ₱1,559.40. SEO services begin at ₱299.40 per month. Website security, remote backup and monitoring products are charged separately.
A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to shared hosting and WordPress hosting. A separate contractual clause permits refunds through day 45 for quarterly, semiannual and annual billing cycles. Because these two periods do not fully match, customers purchasing a longer subscription should confirm the applicable deadline before paying.
Domains, SSL certificates, IP addresses, VPS packages, dedicated servers, website-builder subscriptions, VPN access, WHOIS privacy, setup charges, payment-gateway fees and most additional services are non-refundable. Some products have brief account-credit grace periods, including four days for spam filtering and website security, 13 days for monitoring, and 29 days for email hosting and remote backup.
Payments can be completed through PayPal, UnionBank, LandBank, Metrobank, GCash, PayMaya, Cebuana Lhuillier, M. Lhuillier, Palawan Pawnshop and LBC. Bitcoin, online banking, bank deposits and other electronic-wallet methods are also accepted.
Renewal invoices are generated seven days before the due date. A 10% late charge can be added after expiration, suspension can occur one day later, and termination may follow three days after suspension. Files and account data are deleted after termination, making timely renewal particularly important for customers using manual bank deposits or remittance services.
🏢 Data Center
Shared hosting and WordPress hosting operate from Phoenix, Arizona, USA. The platform uses enterprise servers, RAID-10 SSD or NVMe storage, LiteSpeed and multiple network connections. The infrastructure includes redundant Cisco networking, gigabit connectivity and server-port capacities ranging from 100 Mbps to 2 Gbps.
The VPS network covers a much broader geographic area, including Manila, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Cambodia, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, São Paulo, Johannesburg, multiple US locations and several European locations.
Most Linux VPS packages use 1 Gbps network ports. Regional plans generally include one IPv4 address and monthly traffic allowances from 2 TB to 5 TB. Some regional configurations use a fixed 50 GB SSD or NVMe allocation regardless of memory size, while the India, Singapore, Japan, Australia, US and Europe ranges increase storage as the package becomes larger.
The test network includes addresses in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, San Jose, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Singapore, Bangalore, Tokyo and Sydney. Part of the American network operates through AS32374, while Singapore and Indian test systems include infrastructure connected through AS14061. VPS connectivity therefore varies by region rather than operating through one autonomous system.
Several test-network entries still carry older Ragnarok Hosting package names, so customers requiring a particular routing path, carrier or DDoS platform should request a current test address for the selected server location.
Shared hosting and VPS packages carry a 99.99% uptime guarantee, while the contractual service-level agreement defines 99.9% monthly uptime, equivalent to roughly 45 minutes of unscheduled HTTP downtime in a month.
Service credits begin at 10% when monthly uptime falls between 99.7% and 99.8%. The credit increases as availability decreases and reaches one month of hosting fees when uptime falls to 98.9% or below. Claims must be submitted at the end of the affected month or during the first week of the next month, and the maximum compensation is limited to one month of service fees.
The SLA excludes upstream network failures, Internet-backbone problems, denial-of-service attacks, customer scripts, unusual traffic spikes and infrastructure outside the company’s direct control. VPS, dedicated servers, colocation, bare-metal services and cloud infrastructure are excluded from the credit program. Third-party monitoring records may not be accepted as proof of downtime.
A serious cPanel security incident affected hosting operations between April 30 and May 8, 2026. All cPanel systems were temporarily shut down while security patches, restorations, migrations and verification work were completed. Approximately 95% of hosting services had returned online during the later recovery stage, although one major server required additional restoration and validation. The detailed recovery updates provided useful transparency, but the incident also demonstrated that extended service disruption can occur.
Shared-hosting backups run daily, every other day or weekly depending on the type of data. Off-site backup coverage applies to hosting accounts below 50 GB and 200,000 inodes, but successful recovery is not guaranteed. VPS plans do not include automatic backups, so independent customer-controlled copies remain essential.
✍️ Customer Support
Customer assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the ticket system. Separate departments handle pre-sales questions, technical problems, billing matters and abuse reports. The client area also contains a knowledge base, frequently asked questions and tutorials covering cPanel, domains, VPS administration, backups, WordPress and routine Linux tasks.
A Philippine telephone and SMS number is available at +63 947 313 9000. General inquiries can also be sent to info@gomanilahost or submitted through the contact form. Continuous public live chat is not part of the standard support setup.
Shared-hosting customers receive free website migration and backup restoration. VPS users receive full root access and are generally responsible for administering their own systems. Standard VPS subscriptions do not include a commercial hosting-control-panel license or comprehensive managed-server administration.
Technical support remains subject to the limits defined in the service terms, and resolution of every administrative or software problem is not guaranteed. This distinction is especially relevant for customers without Linux or Windows server-management experience. Support response times also became slower during the May 2026 infrastructure recovery because engineering staff were assigned to restoring affected services.
The documentation library covers a useful range of routine tasks, although some articles and screenshots relate to older software versions. Questions involving current operating systems, control-panel releases, location availability or resource limits are best handled through a support ticket.
🔨 Control Panel
Shared hosting and WordPress hosting use cPanel, supported by CloudLinux and CageFS. Customers can manage domains, website files, databases, email accounts, cron jobs, backups, PHP versions, DNS records, visitor statistics and SSL certificates from a browser.
Softaculous provides one-click installation for more than 285 applications. SitePad is included as a basic drag-and-drop builder, while Cloudflare integration can be used for DNS, caching and security. JetBackup provides access to available server-side backup copies and restoration options.
Account registration, ordering, invoices, renewals, support tickets and service cancellation are managed through a WHMCS-based client area. The storefront can display prices in Philippine pesos or US dollars.
Linux VPS packages use KVM virtualization and provide full root access. Customers select an operating-system image and manage the server through SSH. A commercial hosting control panel is not included by default. Windows VPS customers use Remote Desktop, while BlueStacks VPS configurations include the Android emulator within the Windows environment.
OX App Suite provides a separate browser interface for email, calendars, contacts, files and online document editing. Spam-filtering services use SpamPanel. The standalone website builder includes a visual editor, more than 150 responsive templates, ecommerce functions and several hundred content blocks.
🎯 Conclusion
GoManilaHost combines low-cost Philippine hosting with an unusually broad international VPS footprint. Its main strengths are affordable cPanel and LiteSpeed hosting, local Philippine payment methods, free SSL certificates, annual domain bonuses, regional KVM servers and a wide selection of website, security and email tools.Shared hosting is particularly suitable for personal projects, small companies, local organizations and agencies that want an inexpensive cPanel account. The geographically diverse VPS catalog is useful for developers, game-server operators and businesses that need infrastructure close to users in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, North America or South America.
Important limitations remain. VPS packages are primarily self-managed, IPv6 availability is limited, SMTP port 25 is permanently blocked and automatic server backups are not included. Carrier, routing and test-network details should be confirmed for the selected location. The difference between the 99.99% plan-level guarantee and the 99.9% contractual SLA should also be clarified before placing a mission-critical service on the platform.
The April and May 2026 cPanel incident confirms that prolonged disruption is possible, although the company communicated the restoration process in considerable detail. Organizations that require audited enterprise SLAs, guaranteed backup recovery, formally managed infrastructure or documented compliance certifications should obtain written commitments before relying on the service for critical systems.
The website would benefit from a modern visual redesign, cleaner technical documentation and removal of outdated software references. Even with these weaknesses, GoManilaHost remains a practical budget provider for customers who prioritize low prices, Philippine payment convenience and a broad choice of VPS locations.
