Hosting and domain services operate on a prepaid basis. Payment options include bank transfer or deposit, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia arrangements, PayPal and Stripe through the hosting portal. Mobile-banking transfers can also use the generated invoice number.

New registrations require payment before activation, although an unpaid new service can remain reserved for up to 15 days.

There is no standard money-back guarantee comparable with the 30-day refund policies common among large international hosting companies. Domain and hosting registrations are generally non-refundable. Domain registration fees can be refunded only in limited circumstances, such as a failed domain transfer.

Disaster-recovery infrastructure includes a dual-site architecture with real-time replication between facilities located approximately 120 km apart. Round-trip latency between the sites is around 8 ms. The architecture is designed for zero data loss and recovery in approximately 15 minutes for replicated systems.

The data-center environment uses redundant power infrastructure and modern cooling, with a reported power usage effectiveness of approximately 1.3 PUE.

Critical infrastructure has reached 99.99% availability. Customers purchasing business-critical Telecloud or dedicated infrastructure should still check the SLA attached to the specific contract because the availability level associated with the infrastructure does not necessarily mean that every shared-hosting package carries the same compensation-backed uptime commitment.

Ethio telecom operates AS24757, EthioNet-AS, giving it direct control over an important part of the national Internet infrastructure. Network relationships include Djibouti Telecom, Cloudflare, SomCable, Sudatel and China Telecom Global.

For websites and applications primarily serving Ethiopian users, domestic data-center infrastructure and direct integration with the national telecommunications network can provide an important latency and connectivity advantage compared with hosting services located entirely outside Ethiopia.
