😠 Do Not - Use Awful Customer Service
While unable to get through to customer service, after 3 weeks I finally figured out how to build my website only to discover hours of work gone. Another hour attempt to customer service I finally talked to someone I could hardly understand and was told they could not get back the missing information. After a longer wait time for a supervisor I was told I could could get the deleted information back for an additional charge. I cancelled my account. Then they kept my domain. Stressful 3 weeks and a waste of my time!

😠 Spotty at best
I've been a customer for 3 months, hosting the forum http://wottactic.com there.
So far I've had a billing issue at the start. It took 2 weeks, 4 e-mails and 3 times contacting chat support to open an outgoing port for me. And for the last 1.5 days the website loads roughly 30% of the time. Support assures me they're working on it.
Anyway support staff is nice enough. I just wish I wouldn't need them quite as often and they could redirect me to someone who can actually help me a little quicker.
So in summary if it all works it's a pretty good deal, but at the time of this writing I don't recommend hosting anything with them.

😠 I have been ripped by EHost by £71.46, they were offering service for £4.99 with 45 days money back guarantee. Its been 26 days, numerous calls and emails and no refund. It is obviously scam!!! Fortunately i paid through paypal and paypal promised to refund me money and remove them completely from paypal as they never replied to paypals emails!!! More over they even managed to setup recurring payment on my paypal account for £148!!! If i didnt notice it they would have taken it too. SCAM!! SCAM!! PLEASE AVOID!!!

😠 I joined EHost in the belief that they would be able to provide at least the most basic of hosting services. Instead, I encountered a total mess, was lied to and inefficiently served for 2 months until I demanded to be fully refunded, which up to this day I have not. It seems that my mistake was to trust their first line support for too long.
I started a site on their web builder, a very basic and limited tool and then I asked them to migrate my account to CPanel. The guy on the chat said that it was not possible to do that automatically even though I did not ask them to migrate the site itself, and that I would have to buy a monthly subscription for a domain named ‘test-mydomain’ which I should start building up on CPanel. Then, they would, he assured me, rename this domain to ‘myname’ and cancel the monthly subscription which would leave me with my 3 year subscription on CPanel. And then it all started…. Instead of cancelling the monthly subscription, they cancelled the 3 year [read more...]

😠 EHost.com review
I've been trying to register my domain at ehost.com. I’m not a native English speaker, but I’m sure I’ve used the right verb form in the previous sentence. The website ehost.com claims to have your domain registered and live I 1 hour, however in my case this wouldn’t be further from the truth.
I have write several complaints, asked, plead, beg to have my problem fix, because I had some important projects on stand-by because I couldn’t use my new domain. I was running in circles with their live chat support, system admin, even billing admin (even though the payment was processed within 1 hour of purchase). It appears nobody knew, what was wrong – at least nobody told me, even after I demanded the status of my issue: 1. what is the problem, 2. how will it be fixed, 3. when will it be resolved.
After 1 week of complaints, some great business opportunities lost, I have turned myself into mad-customer-Godzilla, threatening their customer support to share my frustration with the [read more...]

😠 domain registration
I have ordered Premium plan at ehost.com. ON their website they claim to have your domain registered and active in 1 hour – I was waiting for more than 1 week, wrote several appeals to their customer service, and they didn't care to assist me at all.
One of the most disappoint experiences I've ever had with customer services - received countless tickets and no solutions.
Their incompetence nearly cost me some great business opportunities. I will not recommend their services to anyone. If they are not competent enough to deliver their essential services, I don’t want to know what will happen if ore complex problems occurred.
In 1 word: tribble
In 2 words: very disappointing
In 3 words: never use ehost.com

😃 incorrect instructions to set up
I think the company has improved a lot since the reviews published here in 1020. Yet I can't say I've had a good experience so far. Their documentation says you don't have to set up an FTP account for the site owner to upload files, but tech support had me do this. The IP address they told me to upload my site files to, turned out not to be functional. Tech support gave me a different one and it worked. The nameservers, to which they told me to point my domain, turned out to be nonfunctional. I waited 24 hours to propagate, during which time I could not send/receive e-mail, then I contacted tech support. Oops, the documentation instructions had shown the wrong names, and the tech had me put in different ones. I am now waiting another 24+ hours to wait for propagation, no e-mail for at least another day. On the plus side, tech support is very fast and skillful, they know their stuff. Also the documentation is well organized and voluminous (even if it did not prove 100% correct). I was [read more...]

😠 I tried to renew my domain from the control panel, i was told to call customer service to do this manually. Upon calling them, they offered me a rate and charged my credit card TEN TIMES. Then instead of a renewal of URL my domain was pointed to some random server, my domain vanihed causing me to be delisted from google. Loosing my #1 ranking for various keywords which caused my site to go down.
I called customer service and got India, they were very rude and could care less about my dilema. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.
BUYER BE VERY WARE!!!!

😠 This company seems to exist to take advantage of customers. I have been trying so far in vain, to get access to my own account panel but cannot get further than section which informs me that my password is not secure enough and so cannot proceed to access my account. No matter how many combinations one enters, a pop up box immediately informs one that one's choices are not secure enough and are promptly rejected, thus barring entry from account. No end of faxing and emailing or calling enom.com, seems to amount to anything. I simply wish to cancel my account and transfer it to a provider who offers a decent service but have had no such luck yet.
