😁 I hosted a website in China before. My friend recommended Dataplugs to me, and they helped me to migrate the website and email for free. Their server is stable, at least I don't receive any complaint from end users. Sales and CS support are nice and helpful !

😁 I think Dataplugs' China bandwidth connection is really stable and fast for me to use while i am having business with chinese companies, especially when i need a stable video chatting connection during busy hours. It still remains stable and low latency.

😠 When paying by bank transfer, we will pay all fees, but from the payment on the host side we took an additional commission of 23%, be careful!

😠 We paid for 3 months, when paying, they indicated that all commissions were at our expense, but for some reason the hoster (as they say) reached $ 5 HKD less (this is less than $ 1!) And they turned off the hosting, although they had almost three months of money ! We sent another $ 10 HKD, but the money will go to them for 2.5 days, and there is no way to replenish the account from the card for an arbitrary amount and they don’t invoice for a surcharge .. I correspond with the support - they answer me that if they don’t see the surcharge within 2 hours they’ll turn it off hosting, and the money goes 2.5 days !!

😁 I own a server with China bandwidth with dataplugs. There is very few local company offer CN2 direct connection to China. Luckily I found them on google. My business website which targets Chinese customer is working well. The connection is stable and other features are great. (unmetered traffic, SSD storage etc.) Although the price is over my budget, it's worth.

The web hosting is cheap for all those features. I use Enterprise plan for my small scale business, and I got everything I need. (e.g. Free Domain, direct connection to China, SSL cert, unlimited web space etc.) I didn't experience any down times so far. If you want a cheap hosting in Hong Kong, it is recommended.

😞 I am hosting a Wordpress website on PacHosting and I am using UptimeRobot to monitor the downtime. There is always intermediate downtime it report. And I did caught it few time. The browser will return 500 or 404 error (I forgot). This does not happen everyday, but this can happen few times a day. At least 1 time a week.

Their technical support is not up to standard. First they need me to reproduce the issue in the browser. I caught it and send them the screenshot with all the http req and res stuff. Then they replied said the server is fine now. What a joke! The issues is just intermediate and get back up in a minute. Of course it is fine when they check on it. I am sure there is something wrong with their infrastructure. I tried to explain that to them. Hope they can improve it. But I failed. They just want to close my ticket asap.

I was looking for an entry-level dedicated server for my small business. Sales team has provided many useful suggestion for me to select a right server that meet most of my needs. Since my business targets China market, I chose CN2 direct China connection. The server performance and uptime is great, and the latency is low. It's definitely an advantage to reach my Chinese customers. I will keep using their server for a while, recommended!

I was with godaddy, but they nickle and dime for every little thing, Dataplugs really jumped in and helped me move my domain and helped st me up with them. I anticipate staying with Dataplugs for the rest of my business life. Asia dedicated server is more expensive than US dedicated server.
However, my business mainly focus in Hong Kong and China, I have to choose using Asia dedicated hosting.
The price of dataplugs's servers are reasonable, specs and function are good, no set up fee, no additional cost. The main reason I choose dataplugs is their Direct China Route. Another reason is they are a local company which can provide many useful ideas and suggestion for my business. I have been with them almost 1 year. So far every thing works fine and I will keep staying with them.

Having a dedicated server in Asia is more expensive when compare to have one in US.

Since the target audiences of my website are HK and China people, I prefer web hosting service in local company.
Dataplugs is better than other companies that I have ever used before, the overall performance is quite good and stable. Their 7x24 supports are very helpful. I reached out for their help at midnight once before, the response was very quick and helped me solved a big problem. Highly recommended!

😁 I am using dataplugs around 2 years for website hosting in linux. So far so good. Good services but support sometimes takes hour to respond.

😠 Unstable service. Not recommended for serious user. Emails can stop working all of a sudden and SMTP error "MTA's poor reputation".
