what to do
Terrible company, and spurious billing...used to be amazing when they were ASHOSTS...So I have been receiving monthly bills of £75 for a single page portfolio since the beginning of the year, I never signed for this or ticked their "Box"...I feel I was erroneously moved over to a premium package stealthily and can't afford this any longer, I tried to dispute this with them, but as they have no phone number to ring I could only ever use there support ticket system...this eventually became so frustrating that I'm ashamed to say I resorted to bad they are threatening me with this and the receivers...all I want are my IPS records to move...this they told me I can have if I now pay off the remainder of the contract (again I never signed for this...unbelievable)...I've gotten NOMINET involved and they are aware of "them"...but so desperate to leave them without this hassle and keep my domain name, and on that note they have told me it will be up for sale if I don't pay their [read more...]

Rubbish Service How can companies Exist like this
The worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I requested an Exchange service, I ended up with some substandard IMAP service, with no Calendars or Contacts. Held to ransom when I wanted to move away it would cost us £700. Email was down 20% of the time it was never their fault though. Customer support was non existent...

The worst hosting company I have used
Support has got worse over time - now terribly slow response. Very expensive and add charges for services that other hosts include. If you don't cancel 30 days before renewal they will charge for another year. They lock FTP access so it takes 2 days to upload or download a file.

Rude customer service and fictional invoices
Without doubt the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Fictional invoices and a very rude owner who pretends to write as other people in order to make the company look bigger that it actually is - (there's nothing wrong with being a 1 man operation if you can trade successfully).

Tried to hide behind some nonsense in the T&C about 1 month's cancellation despite them not actually providing any service. Signed up for a new account and they didnt even register the domain. I eventually purchased the domain elsewhere, but ASP still had the audacity to claim an additional 1 month hosting. Their money-back guarantee means nothing.

Dont believe anything on their website about communications either. They wont answer the telephone, LiveHelp or email, so their homepage breaches the Advertising Standards.

Worst hosting provider I am concerned that they are in business
I recently purchased a hosting service a domain name from ASP-Host.Co.Uk it quickly became apparent that they are running a sub-standard operation and it's questionable whether they are actually operating within the law. They are offering services at a rate which is competitive however they do not fulfil the contract by providing the services. When you question them in regard to this an offer is made to provide the services at an additional cost I believe they are duping customers into purchasing services with no intention of providing them to the customer I have therefore reported to trading standards and am pursing a legal proceedings to recover my losses.

I was with this company for several years. I allowed my domain to expire. Following this they sent a debt collection company after me, despite giving me no warning that their supposed terms had changed and I had been put on a rolling contract.

Service is poor quality, control panel is woeful and they are vile people to deal with. Do not touch.

Dreadful company – very unprofessional – do not answer their phones – disconnect you, do not phone you back, online live chat – cut you off mid way when they are unable to answer simple questions. They are resellers of Heart. I gave them 1 months notice to leave and they are not letting me out of my contract which means all that money I have spent on my website and domain names I will lose thanks to – I am surprised that they are allowed to get away with treating their customers in this manner and the lengths they go to in order to keep hold of your business and money! Be warned – Stay clear. I have lost thousands!
Regarding the 1 bad review by someone called Sam who failed to pay money owing to Asp Host and avoided our phone calls and E-mails. She signed a 12 month contract but ran into financial difficulty and therefore stopped paying her overdue hosting invoices after 5 months of payments.

The client then contacted us to request her hosting files but they were locked until she settled her payment which is correct procedure for any business who is owed money.

The client claims to have lost thousands yet she was on a £25 a month hosting package and her bill was less then £300 owing. This goes to show the type of person in question which does not help companies.

Asp Host Legal Solicitors have already contacted her for Slander and to recover monies owed.

We value all our clients and new clients but if you sign up to a 12 month hosting package then you aspect to go along with the monthly payments as agreed. We can't be responsible if they suddenly laid off work or their own business [...]
