The CityLine Internet provider has been leading its history since the spring of 2004, from the moment Parallelny Mir LLC was founded in Brest. However, the connection of the first subscriber and the beginning of the commercial operation of the network should rightfully be considered the real birth of the provider. This milestone event for us took place in November 2004. A lot of time has passed since then, a lot of work has been done, and our company has been able to establish itself as a modern, high-tech, dynamically developing enterprise.One of the fundamental principles of our activity is the utmost honesty in working with clients, a sensitive attitude and an individual approach. We are focused on long-term prospects, which are never sacrificed for momentary benefits. We try to make the work of our clients as convenient and efficient as possible. And this was appreciated by both home users and small companies, as well as large Brest enterprises of various forms of ownership, which have been maintaining mutually beneficial cooperation with us for a long time.
The second principle that has invariably determined the nature of our work over the years is the maintenance of a high level of technical base, its constant development in accordance with the requirements of the time. The company's arsenal includes modern equipment from leading world manufacturers, as well as qualified specialists with many years of experience in the field of information technology. The central node of our data transmission network is located in close proximity to the main Brest telecommunications node of RUE Beltelecom, through which the main information flows pass. This factor, together with modern technical equipment and qualified personnel, allows us to provide traditionally high quality services.
And finally, the third main principle of our company's activity is the constant development of services. We started our work with the only dial-up access node, designed for only thirty simultaneous modem connections, and today we provide a wide range of Internet services to thousands of subscribers in Brest:
high-speed (ADSL, SHDSL) access to the Internet,
construction of data transmission networks,
sale of telecommunications equipment,
email ,
VPN (secure connection of office networks),
web hosting ,
development and implementation of WEB-applications.
These three basic principles are a solid foundation on which our work today is based, and provide a good foundation for all our future activities.
Hosting services provided by CityLine are based on the use of high-performance specialized server equipment of the world's leading brands (Intel Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Development Company), designed for continuous round-the-clock operation in 24x7x365 mode. The software platform used is robust, well-established open source server software.
