😠 Avoid this web host!
We have co-located a server with Cheetaweb for several years now. Their strengths are in their data speeds and reasonable pricing.
However, we recently encountered ~9 hours of down time with them, when they accidentally messed up an IP block. Totally their fault. We have been a very gracious client and understand that mistakes happen. Naturally, we submitted a support ticket, requesting an explanation and time frame for when we would be back. Nearly 6 hours passed before we heard anything and when they did finally respond, they were very vague as to what the problem actually was and when service would be restored. Because there was no time frame provided, we were forced to do a rush order at another host for a new dedicated server. It was roughly 9-10 hours later before we actually had connectivity again with Cheetaweb.
This kind of service and unresponsiveness is absolutely unacceptable. While all of our web sites have been moved away from Cheetaweb, we are still trying to [read more...]
