With a network serving several data centers, having acquired a solid reputation and benefiting from numerous partnerships, Absolight is a profitable company, endowed with a healthy and balanced customer portfolio and a known and recognized player in the French and European Internet landscape.In 1998, three years after meeting on the benches of the university, Bruno Zuzzé and Bruno Spiquel created Sohanet , a website creation agency. Not to deviate from the fashion of startups, they start their activity in the basement of a suburban pavilion. Customers quickly become seeking accommodation for their sites, and these are the first investments in shared servers.
Two years later, they joined forces with Mathieu Arnold, a seasoned Unixian then working at Club Internet; most of the servers migrate to FreeBSD and Sohanet becomes Absolight. On the strength of its financial independence, the company is overcoming the bursting of the Internet bubble and is developing its server hosting business. At the end of 2003, in order to manage its growth, Absolight undertook to build its own network and moved most of its infrastructure to Telecity (formerly RedBus Interhouse).
Absolight is above all the fruit of the work of passionate people, whose job it is and who even today “get their hands dirty” .
