😠 Been with them for a long time with service continually degrading year over year.
Recently left them for another provider as had enough. Honestly my fault for not switching sooner; but was scared to switch due to getting even worse service elsewhere...
They look to be a reseller of megamailservers.com (USA?) virtual hosting services based out of Toronto Canada. Note: have seen a few resellers store fronts for megamailservers.com
24hourwebhostingsupport.com is the main support portal and is some of the worst I've ever dealt with to the point of saying (there are some good people; but it can't be more than 5% of them)
Mentally, I was at the point of thinking... Why bother reporting anything as they're either going to reply in some moronic way, close the ticket, or do something else completely off the wall.
A kick in the groin.. No MULTIPLE kicks to the groin is more pleasant than having to run the gauntlet of trying to get issues sorted out.
Off the top of my head, the following stand out.
* Moronic Anti spam to the point of lost sales. The kicker is we would still get lots of "obvious Spam".
* Outbound Reply as email alias broken
* Lots of web/email outages - Built local scripts to continually test email and test website accessibility so we could get the jump on reporting outages
* Inbound web requests blocked from European countries. 4 months of its not us responses & closing ticket after ticket. After getting them to agree it was their web servers, they closed the ticket.. After reopening found out that they had implemented country blocking in response to US Sanctions.
* Many customers contacted us by phone saying they couldn't access our website, or couldn't send us email due bounce replies that there email was blocked due to having "Spam like characteristics". Think their definition of spam is if you send a single email.
* We've setup gmail and yahoo accounts for the many times that we couldn't receive or send email to customers
* Brutal back-end management interface
I honestly can't believe they got 3.5 rating :-)
