Hetzner, opgericht in 1997, is een hostingprovider die wordt aangedreven door hardware- en softwareproducten met een sterke reputatie op de markt. Ze zijn een groen bedrijf dat werkt aan hernieuwbare energiebronnen. Hun website is beschikbaar in het Duits, Engels en Russisch.

Bij shared hostingpakketten kunnen klanten standaardfuncties vinden die belangrijk zijn bij het kopen van hostingservices: back-up, SSL-codering of DNS. Hetzner implementeerde ook ondersteuning voor PHP-scripts of databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL). Het ongemak dat kan optreden, is dat sommige functies die gewoonlijk in een onbeperkt bedrag zijn opgenomen in serverconfiguraties bij andere hostingbedrijven, hier beperkt zijn tot beperkte bedragen, behalve voor het geavanceerde shared hostingplan.

Cloudservers worden aangedreven door Load Balancers en draaien op Intel Xeon Gold- of AMD EPYC 2nd GEN-processors. Dit zijn schaalbare servers en kunnen worden opgewaardeerd tot 10 TB opslag en dataverkeer kan worden uitgebreid van de 20 TB die automatisch in de server wordt geïmplementeerd. De klanten hebben ook vrije keuze wat betreft netwerkopslag (NVMe SSD RAID of Ceph).

Klanten hebben de vrijheid om te kiezen tussen vooraf geconfigureerde dedicated servers of de aanpassing van hun persoonlijke server. Deze worden aangedreven door Intel- en AMD-processors, die werken op SATA-, HDD- of NVMe SSD-schijven.
