Aug 31, 2004 : LCL Partners with Amsterdam Exchange

📅 August 31, 2004 - Colocation provider LCL Telehousing (lcl.be) announced on Tuesday that it has entered into a partnership with the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX.net) to offer AMS-IX ports to its Web hosting and Internet service clients out of its data center facility in Diegem, Belgium.

LCL Telehousing said that with the partnership, it no longer needs to rent space in any of the four AMS-IX facilities in Amsterdam.
"By offering the possibility of acquiring AMS-IX ports at the LCL data center, we think we can offer an even better service to our clients. LCL will take care of the data transport to the AMS-IX in Amsterdam," says Laurens van Reijen of LCL Telehousing.
According to LCL Telehousing, clients can now set up peering contacts with AMS-IX members.
AMS-IX is an independent, non-profit Internet exchange.
