Jul 27, 2005 : Eliteral Pre-registering New Domains

📅 - Domain registrar Eliteral (eliteral.com) said on Tuesday that it would begin accepting pre-registrations for .jobs, .travel and .eu domains at 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, July 28, 2005.

Currently the domains are only available to those who meet certain prerequisites. With the pre-registration service, the company says, users can have their domains tested for availability as soon as the domain is open to the public.

Pre-registrations will be charged $120 for a minimum two-year commitment. Customers will only be billed if a pre-registration becomes a valid domain registration.

"The registration of .jobs, .travel and .eu domains represents a tremendous opportunity for businesses eager to tap into millions of consumers in the European community and the travel industry," says Monil Chheda, president of Eliteral. "This previously unavailable opportunity helps businesses protect their international brand identity and enables them to establish a strong foothold in the rapidly expanding and virtually untouched marketplace."
